Poetic License, aka “ The 20-Year Crush,” is a light romantic comedy by Texas playwright Carl Williams, which runs through July 21 at Boerne Community Theatre. Directed by Christine Crowley, the story is about two women, 20 years out of college: one is happily married, the other is divorced. When the poetry professor both had a crush on during college returns to town, they are both wooed by him, much to the consternation of the husband who feels he cannot compare to the handsome professor.

The Marvelous Wonderettes is a 1950s-1960s pop music genre musical- comedy written and created by Roger Bean, presented by S.T.A.G.E., Inc., and directed by Petra Pearce. — July 9, 16: Resin Embellishments (two parts) This two-session class allows us to use two-part epoxy resin. Fabricate a wire open bezel. Incorporate color, paper, glitter, and inclusions into the resin. Practice mixing and handling the unique medium of resin. The second session will include UV resin for finishing and added dimension.
— July 23: Glue Batik Try a modern twist on traditional Indonesian batik fabric. Use a water-soluble glue to act as a resist. Add color with high flow fabric paints. Produce patterns and designs in vivid color.
