MAY 18

BOERNE BOCK WALK: Take a stroll through the breweries of Boerne with their annual Boerne Bock Walk. Each brewery will have their own Maibock-style beer on tap. The walk starts at noon at Dodging Duck, then proceeds to Cibolo Creek Brewing Co., followed by Free Roam Brewing Co. and ends at Hamby’s first-year anniversary party. MOONDANCE OUTDOOR CONCERT Series: Come out to the first Moondance concert of the summer at Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road. Music starts at 7:30 p.m. A family-friendly outdoor concert series supporting local musicians. Bring your own chairs, picnic blankets, cushions, beer, food and ice chests. A food truck will also be on site. Tickets: $15 per person; 12 years old and under are free.

THE GREATER BOERNE Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. for The Ironwood Barn at Von Erich Ranch, 1637 FM 473, followed by an open house.

MAY 22

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. for Sunbelt Rentals, 28691 W I-10, followed by an event with special vendors, door prizes, food and drinks.

MAY 23

CHAMBER WILL HOLD ribbon-cutting ceremonies at: 11:30 a.m. for Complete Balance PT, 39 Scenic Loop Road; 1:30 p.m. for Innovista Eye, 27650 Interstate 10, Ste. 110; and 3:30 p.m. for RE/MAX Elite, 23705 I-10.

MAY 25

BOERNE ART WADDLE: Waddle along the Hill Country Mile, 100 N. Main St. Shopping, artists displaying original works of art and artist demos are on tap. Several bands will be playing along the route, part of Music On the Mile. Event runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

GALLERY195 ANNIVERSARY celebration: Enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres and mingle with artists and art lovers during this special seventh anniversary event from 4-7 p.m. at the Gallery, 195 S. Main St.

MUSIC IN THE Cave: A Memorial Day tribute is presented by The Woodland Winds at Cave Without A Name, 325 Kreutzberg Road. Event runs 7:30-9:30 p.m.; advanced tickets are $35 and $40 at the door. Tickets: www.cavewithoutaname.com

BOERNE CONCERT BAND Memorial Day Concert from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. This group of volunteer musicians is quickly becoming one of the best performing groups in central Texas. For this concert, they will be playing patriotic favorites. The premiere performance of the Boerne Jazz Band will begin at 6:30 p.m.

TEXAS HILL COUNTRY Nurses honor guard meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Unity of the Hill Country, 1016 Jefferson Street in Kerrville. This is a volunteer organization open to all licensed nurses, either working or retired, and to nursing students. Details: [email protected].

U.S. MILITARY ACADEMIES student panel. Boerne High School and Champion High School graduates have been invited back for a panel discussion on “Why a military service academy? What have I experienced?” The dinner and panel will take place at The Center, 17 Old San Antonio Road, beginning at 6 p.m. The panel will be moderated by Fair Oaks Ranch Mayor Pro Tem Laura Koerner.
