The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. APRIL 17
5: 50 a. m., 100 block of Gallant Fox Lane — A caller reported the smell of marijuana coming from another apartment unit and permeating throughout the complex.
9:22 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A male attired with a “bro shirt” was reported to be walking around the parking lot with an empty shopping cart. The caller was concerned because the male was looking into vehicle windows.
10: 01 a. m., 300 block of Lasso Falls — A caller reported that holes had been punched in the wall at the pool bathroom.
8:42 p.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported that someone had left two guinea pigs in front of Pet Barn in a cage. Several minutes later, the caller reported that someone had taken possession of the guinea pigs.
11:54 p.m., on Cascade Caverns Road — An employee reported hearing several kittens in a guest’s vehicles. Law enforcement found the kittens were stuck under the vehicle and were able to rescue them.
APRIL 18
9:40 a.m., 800 block of Adler Road — A caller reported a suspicious van in the area with several dogs inside. The caller said the driver had approached the caller, but when the caller asked about the dogs, the driver got upset. The caller provided a description of the vehicle.
2:39 p.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 — A caller was concerned his vehicle was reported as stolen after the dealership was asking the caller for more money.
3:30 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — An employee reported a shoplifter had been detained. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was taken into custody.
4: 21 p. m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported a male who had been “camping” in the Walmart parking lot for over three weeks.
4:56 p.m., 7100 block of Agarita Mist — A caller reported someone was dumping dirt into a common area within the subdivision.
APRIL 19
3:54 p.m., Highway 46/FM 3351 — Comal County law enforcement contacted BPD for assistance with stopping a vehicle they suspected of being involved in neighborhood thefts. The vehicle was tracked into Boerne at speeds hitting 91 mph on Main Street at one point. The vehicle got stuck and the driver fled.
2:01 p.m., 3700 block of E. I-10 — A caller reported his personal information had been skimmed the prior night.
2:17 p.m., 1500 block of S. Main Street — A manager reported front license plates were stolen from two company vehicles.
4:05 p.m., 1600 block of River Road — A caller reported he had been scammed at a local convenience store with Bitcoin.
4:58 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported people who were asking for money at one of the store entrances. The employee had asked them to leave but she had refused.
5:06 p.m.., 100 block of Cactus Flower — A caller reported a suspicious male that his daughter kept seeing on her walk home from school. The male would stand and watch the caller’s daughter walk, amongst other odd behavior.
APRIL 20
3:36 p.m., 100 block of Emery Lane — A caller reported seeing thick, black smoke coming from the property and was concerned there was a fire. Bexar FD and Boerne FD were called to the location and found it was a controlled burn.
3:47 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller with an RV had been asked to leave the premises but refused.
4:09 p.m., 100 block of City Park Road — A caller reported an elderly male who was at the location taking photos of boys.
APRIL 21
12:37 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported her front license plate had been stolen.
4:13 p.m., 100 block of Maravillas — A new homeowner reported she could hear hissing and smelled gas. Boerne FD came to the location to handle the matter.
5:04 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — Law enforcement was notified of a stolen vehicle that was being towed by another vehicle making its way down the interstate.
7:54 p.m., mile marker 545 W. I-10 — San Antonio FD notified Boerne PD about a dump truck on the interstate that had something burning in the back. Boerne FD located the vehicle and the driver said he was going to try and make it to a gas station. Apparently, nothing was on fire, but there was a diesel issue resulting in black smoke.
APRIL 22
5:12 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported a male and female were having a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Law enforcement came to the location and separated the parties.
12:16 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 — Two males were taken into custody after a traffic stop.
2:35 p.m., 100 block of Dietert Avenue — A caller reported a male outside of her property she suspected of not belonging in the area.
4:46 p.m., 200 block of Theissen Street — A caller was concerned about a male who had set up several items at a table, including an oxygen tank. Boerne FD was contacted. It was found that the male had set up the items for a showand- tell at his church.
5: 30 p. m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — An employee reported an apartment resident had hit her vehicle and then driven off.
APRIL 23
9:10 a.m., 100 block of Windsor Drive — A caller wanted to report fraudulent charges on his credit card account.
11:22 a.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported a male customer who was refusing to leave the location and was yelling.
12:07 p.m., at Main Street/ Bandera Road — Law enforcement was notified of a stolen license plate on a vehicle in the area.
2:33 p.m., 36000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported a customer had left without paying for services. The caller provided law enforcement with a description of the customer’s vehicle.
4:14 p.m., 1400 block of River Road — A caller reported that someone had stolen an Apple Watch. The caller noted it had been stolen in March, but it was just noticed missing today.
7:45 p.m., 100 block of Boulder Creek — This caller found the unpleasant surprise of a coral snake in his barbeque grill. They had bravely caught the snake in a bag before Animal Control arrived.
APRIL 18
12: 24 p. m., 200 block of N. Highway 87 — A caller reported her neighbor shot and killed her dog during the night.
3:23 p.m., mile marker 540 W. I-10 — A caller reported passing an accident on the interstate. A vehicle had spun out and was facing the wrong direction. The driver did not require medical attention. However, there was substantial guardrail damage that was causing issues.
3:30 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — An employee reported apprehending a shoplifter at the store. The shoplifter was taken into custody.
6:18 p.m., Staudt Street — A caller reported that someone had called her pretending to be with KCSO and had frauded the caller out of money.
7:11 p.m., mile marker 529 E. I-10 — Half a dozen loose goats were reported to be looking for a late Thursday lunch.
7: 48 p. m., 10000 block of Johns Road — A caller reported someone from outof- state had opened a bank account in her husband’s name.
APRIL 19
4:14 a.m., on Scenic Loop Road — A caller reported her catalytic converter was stolen from her box truck.
10:10 a.m., on Oakland Hills — A caller reported her cat had been stuck in the storm drain overnight.
11:58 a.m., 300 block of E. Highway 46 — A cow was on the side of the road, looking for a free lunch.
1:38 p.m., 400 block of FM 474 — A caller was concerned about a black helicopter that was flying low to the ground.
6:08 p.m., mile marker 523 W. I-10 — A caller reported a driver who was waving around a firearm. The caller provided dispatch with a description of the driver and vehicle.
7:51 p.m., 100 block of Possum Creek Road — A caller found paperwork on his property and was concerned that someone had trespassed.
8:28 p.m., on Old #9 Highway — A caller reported a truck had hit their fence and was trying to leave the location. A second caller reported the accident. The driver got out of the truck and showed signs of being intoxicated. Law enforcement came to the location and the driver was taken into custody.
APRIL 20
9: 57 a. m., 100 block of River Ranch Road — A caller reported her neighbor’s dog had charged at her.
11:04 a.m., 100 block of Deer View Drive — A caller reported receiving a call from someone fraudulently claiming to be with the sheriff ’s office. The scammer told the caller he had a citation and needed to pay money.
1:18 p.m., Sattler Road — A caller reported a vehicle crashed through the fence and the driver had left the scene. The vehicle was taken into custody and law enforcement looked for the driver.
APRIL 21
12:48 a.m., 200 block of W. Highway 46 — A vehicle was reported to have flipped over, with an occupant trapped inside. Bystanders were able to help the male get out of the vehicle. A towing company took possession of the vehicle.
8: 43 a. m., Cordillera Trace — A security guard reported two men left the property and intentionally avoided cameras.
9:07 a.m., 10000 block of Johns Road — A bull was on the side of the road, looking for a ride to Sunday brunch.
2:03 p.m., 200 block of Old #9 — A caller reported a vehicle crashed into a fence and continued driving. The caller said the vehicle then crashed into something else. The airbags were deployed in the vehicle. The driver suffered a knee injury.
2:11 p.m., on Dodge Road — A caller reported a dog had the unfortunate fate of being inflicted with porcupine quills.
3: 34 p. m., 100 block of Monarca Boulevard — A caller reported a group of teenagers who had jumped the gate to access the pool.
APRIL 22
1: 03 a. m., 100 block of Upper Cibolo Creek Road — A cow was making its presence known. The property owner may not have minded as much, had it not been one o’clock in the morning.
6:14 a.m., 800 block of FM 289 — A broken down Amazon truck was blocking the interstate, risking everyone being late for work, or worse: their Prime delivery being delayed.
12: 12 p. m., 200 block of E. Highway 46 — A caller reported that a vehicle hit his fence over the weekend. The vehicle had left parts behind.
2:47 p.m., 300 block of Upper Balcones — A caller requested advice regarding a family member possibly stealing $2,500 to $7,000 from him.
5:32 p.m., 100 block of Scenic View Drive — A caller reported a male who had called the house and asked to stay there because he was a wanted person and needed to “stay low.”
6:17 p.m., 10000 block of Johns Road — A caller reported two vehicles he suspected were chasing the caller’s property. Sometimes the vehicles were blocking the caller’s gate. The caller said he flashed a firearm at the individuals and they had left the location.
APRIL 23
2:54 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road — A probable cause search was conducted after a traffic stop. A woman was taken into custody.
10:03 a.m., 100 block of Paradise Point — A caller reported someone had hit their residence on Sunday, damaging the wall. The caller suspected it was the Amazon driver, as they found packages had been delivered when they went to look at the damage.
4:25 p.m., 100 block of Cedar Court — A caller reported a snake had trespassed on her property and was blocking her front door.
5:05 p.m., 20 block of FM 1376 — A pickup truck hit a guardrail. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle, but the vehicle was no longer drivable.
8:17 p.m., 2500 block of FM 473 — A caller reported the ongoing issue of a dog welcoming itself into the caller’s yard.
