The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. JANUARY 3
11;09 a.m., 100 block of Parkway Drive – A caller reported they were remodeling and someone was illegally dumping at the location.
3:07 p.m., Christus Parkway/W. Interstate 10 – Law enforcement reported a second interaction with a group of individuals who were refusing to leave the location.
5:21 p.m., 200 block of Ivy Lane – A caller reported two stray dogs who had helped themselves to the complex’s dog park. The dogs were picked up and taken to the shelter.
8:34 p.m., 10 block of Cascade Caverns – A two vehicle hit-and-run accident occurred. One vehicle went off the road and its air bag deployed. A nearby property sustained fence damage. It was suspected the other driver was possibly intoxicated. The other driver was located and detained.
JANUARY 4
6:06 a.m., 300 block of S. Esser Road – Two vehicles were involved in an accident. One of the drivers was injured. EMS was contacted to provide medical assistance. A wrecker was called for the vehicles.
9:03 a.m., on Cascade Caverns Road – A caller wanted to report issues regarding fraudulent activity on their organization’s bank account. The caller added that almost $1,000 of charges had been made the prior month.
9:14 a.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A store manager reported an employee had stolen $2,000 from the business.
2:12 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a family of five who were panhandling in the area. The caller added that this was not the first time he had seen the group.
5:17 p.m., 100 block of Menger Springs – A patient was reported to be verbally hostile and threatening the staff.
JANUARY 5
8:04 a.m., 200 block of Mustang Run – A caller reported his vehicle had been broken into overnight.
12:36 p.m., mile marker 540 W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported there was a restraining order against him and the individual who had filed the restraining order was following him. The caller was concerned about a physical alteration if the caller stopped.
1:57 p.m., 100 block of W. Blanco Road – A caller reported a personal vehicle had been broken into and their wallet had been stolen sometime that morning.
3:21 p.m., 700 block of River Road – A caller reported a group of kids had been ringing his doorbell and running away.
6:35 p.m., 500 block of Johns Road – A caller reported an accident where the vehicle swerved off the road and hit a tree. The airbags deployed but the driver was able to get out of the vehicle. EMS was contacted to provide medical assistance.
JANUARY 6
12:25 a.m., 100 block of Menger Springs – A patient reported he had been stabbed at a bar in San Antonio. SAPD had already made a report on the case.
2:00 a.m., 100 block of Short Street – A guest who was staying at a rental home was concerned about a noise they were hearing and asked law enforcement to come and check it out.
9:52 a.m., 200 block of Market Avenue – A caller reported a former employee had been stolen from the location.
11:11 a.m., 600 block of Theissen Street – A woman at the location was reported to have stolen a purse the prior day.
6:26 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported he had received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the Boerne PD, regarding an outstanding parking ticket at a location the caller did not frequent.
8:55 p.m., 100 block of Cimarron Creek – A caller reported on the previous two nights, people had been going through the neighborhood and aggressively knocking on the doors and ringing doorbells.
JANUARY 7
12:16 a.m., 1000 block of Diamond Drive – A mother reported her juvenile daughter had been tagged in a “sexually explicit” video on social media, by an older man. The caller informed dispatch that she knew who the male was, and a similar instance had occurred with one of the daughter’s peers.
3:59 p.m., 100 block of Clear Sky – A woman reported someone attempted to steal her vehicle that morning.
11:41 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A disgruntled caller reported his neighbor had been playing loud music for the past two hours.
JANUARY 8
12:21 a.m., 100 block of August Lane – A caller reported his daughter had seen a male out a back window. In addition to this being an ongoing issue, the caller said she and her daughter could hear the individual moving around.
10:17 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller wanted to report an instance of check fraud. The caller requested law enforcement to come to the location to handle the matter.
11:36 a.m., 300 block of E. Highway 46 – A horse was wandering around the road, looking for companionship.
11:42 a.m., Shooting Club Road – A caller reported someone at the location had attacked him, resulting in him bleeding from his face. The caller said the attacker had also intentionally flooded his apartment the previous night. Law enforcement came to the location and detained the attacker.
1:26 p.m., 37000 block of E. I-10 – An employee reported a woman who had been parked at the location over the weekend and was refusing to leave. Dispatch was informed that the woman was even given $10 in gas so that she was able to leave.
2:09 p.m., 200 block of Mustang Run – A caller reported someone had taken out a loan worth over $50,000 in the caller’s name.
JANUARY 9
9:37 a.m., 37000 block of E. I-10 – A caller was concerned about a dog who was inside a pickup truck by himself. The caller was concerned because she could not locate the owner, and the owner had been having issues with law enforcement.
1:31 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported another employee who was caught shoplifting from the location.
1:45 p.m., 400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported her parents had received a scam call, saying the caller was in jail and her parents needed to pay $7,000 in bail money.
1:54 p.m., 1200 block of Fifth Street – A manager reported one of his employee’s girlfriends was sitting in the parking lot, refusing to leave the location.
8:07 p.m., 100 block of Crosspoint Road – A caller requested law enforcement check out a neighboring apartment. The caller was concerned because the fire alarms were frequently going off, accompanied by the smell of burnt plastic.

JANUARY 3
1:04 a.m., mile marker 543, W. I-10 – A vehicle without a license plate was pulled over. A probable cause search was conducted and a female was detained.
5:40 a.m., on Remington Drive/Fuller Drive – A caller reported a driver who was driving slowly around the neighborhood. The caller said when he pulled up behind the vehicle, it drove off.
7:56 a.m., 100 block of W. Bandera Road – A silent alarm system alerted law enforcement to a bank being held up.
10:43 a.m., 1400 block of FM 473 – A single-vehicle accident occurred, with the vehicle flipping off the road. The driver got out of the vehicle and was reported to be OK.
2:31 p.m., mile marker 531, W. I-10 – A caller was concerned about a vehicle on the interstate due to its aftermarket passenger door lock. The caller suspected the vehicle was involved with human trafficking.
2:41 p.m., 1000 block of FM 473 – Eight goats were on a walk, getting started on their New Years’ goals.
JANUARY 4
9:01 a.m., on Staudt Street – A woman came in to report credit card fraud.
9:36 a.m., 1200 block Fifth Street – A caller reported someone had come onto their property during the holidays and cut down a tree and taken the tree with them.
11:57 a.m., 600 block of FM 474 – A caller reported they suspected someone in the area using explosives. The caller said their house was shaking and added told they thought the explosives were going off.
1:58 p.m., mile marker 530, W. I-10 – A worker reported people on a nearby property who were shooting at them. Law enforcement contacted the individuals who were shooting.
JANUARY 5
8:01 a.m., 100 block N. Walnut Way – A male called in to report that his girlfriend would not let him leave the location. While speaking with dispatch, the girlfriend left the location. Law enforcement contacted the caller but did not want to speak with them.
10:24 a.m., on Rust Road – A caller reported one of her goats had been shot during the night.
12:35 p.m., 900 block of E. Highway 46 – Three underage males were reported to have stolen beer from the location. The males were located and their parents were contacted.
5:35 p.m., on S. FM 3351 – A manager reported a male was at the location taking photos of female employees. The male was texting the photos to an off-duty manager, inquiring about who they were.
9:19 p.m., 800 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported receiving a toll road bill for a vehicle he had sold over 20 years prior.
JANUARY 6
9:13 a.m., 100 block of Doe Drive – A caller reported there was a dead cat on her back patio. The caller requested that Animal Control come and pick it up.
10:57 a.m., 300 block of Park Ridge – A caller reported he had locked his keys in his vehicle with a toddler inside. Luckily, the vehicle was able to be swiftly unlocked.
11:59 a.m., 1000 block of Front Street – A caller reported his vehicle had been stolen in November 2023 and he had not seen it since. However, it was advertised to him for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
9:33 p.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge – A caller reported that someone had been walking around the caller’s RV and going through their things.
11:44 p.m., 800 block of Ridgewood – A caller was concerned when she heard someone entering her house and making lots of loud noises. It turned out to be the caller’s boyfriend who came home.
JANUARY 7
12:05 p.m., 30000 block of W. I-10 – A business owner reported his video surveillance showed someone messing with one of the company vehicles. After further research, it was discovered that it was a new employee of the company.
12:08 p.m., 1200 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported that a dog had been chained up around a month prior and Animal Control had come and handled the situation. The caller informed dispatch that the dog was once again chained up at the location.
1:37 p.m., 200 block of Majestic Oaks Drive – A caller reported his son had been bitten by a dog the prior evening and the bite broke the skin. The child had been taken to the ER.
2:29 p.m., mile marker 533, E. I-10 – Multiple callers reported a grass fire on the shoulder of the interstate, which escalated and jumped lanes to the other side of the interstate too. Boerne FD was contacted. Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office was called to assist with traffic control due to the smoke.
3:50 p.m., 100 block of S. Wagon Wheel Drive – A property owner reported a residence had been broken into. The caller was not going to be back in the area until later in the week but wanted law enforcement to go check it out.
JANUARY 8
8:26 a.m., 500 block of N. Highway 87 – A caller reported their vehicle had blown a tire and hydroplaned off the road. The caller explained they were in an unsafe spot. They had called a wrecker, but the wrecker was not going to arrive for another two hours.
10:10 a.m., 900 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported fraudulent charges were made on their credit card at the location, and at a different location of the same store.
10:21 a.m., 100 block of Sentido – A caller reported $1,300 worth of equipment stolen from the location. The caller said a suspicious vehicle was seen in the area the previous week and may be connected to the incident.
11:27 a.m., on Green Cedar Road – A caller reported a male who was trespassing on the property and sleeping. The caller did note that the male had left the location five to 10 minutes prior to the call. Law enforcement came to the location and detained the male.
12:46 p.m., 100 block of Juniper Lane – Three horses helped themselves to lunch at this caller’s property.
JANUARY 9
3:39 a.m., on Schmidt Lane – Emergency services reported receiving a call from someone saying, “come help us.” Their RV had caught on fire, and it was quickly spreading to surrounding trees and an electric pole. Boerne FD and Waring FD were contacted.
8:33 a.m., on Edge Falls/FM 3351 – A caller reported his pickup truck had been stolen during the night.
10:25 a.m., on Staudt Street – A male came in to report fraudulent charges had been made on his credit card at locations in Austin and San Antonio.
5:06 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller was concerned about a nitrogen tank that had fallen over near the back of the location. Although there were no flames and no smell, Comfort FD came to investigate the matter.
5:13 p.m., 300 block of Horseshoe Bend – A caller reported a vehicle was driving back-and-forth in front of the caller’s house.
7:02 p.m., 1000 block of Clubs Drive – A caller reported a vehicle had been stolen. The caller was able to track the vehicle with an app, which showed the vehicle was still in the area. It turned out the vehicle was not stolen, but another individual had accidentally taken home the wrong vehicle.
