Kendall County Sheriff’s Office December 13

7:49 a.m., 800 block of N. Highway 87 – A three-vehicle accident occurred, resulting in one of the vehicles landing in a ditch after rolling over multiple times. Dispatch was speaking with one of the drivers who said he was suffering from back pain and also had a child in the vehicle with him. Medical assistance was called to the location.

9:32 a.m., 400 block of Front Street – A K9 unit was deployed and had a positive alert after a probable cause search. A tow truck subsequently needed to be called for the vehicle.

12:41 p.m., 37000 block of E. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a male who was hitchhiking along the side of the interstate.

12:48 p.m., 500 block of Upper Sisterdale Road – A caller reported she had received a letter from the IRS stating her name had been removed from her account, despite not making any changes.

1:56 p.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported she had been contacted by someone claiming to be with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and was looking for the caller’s husband. The scam caller additionally left a confusing voicemail.

3:16 p.m., 300 block of Walnut Way – A caller reported that she had been approached by a male while at her residence. The male was looking for someone else in the area, who was apparently involved with drugs. The caller was unsure what to make of the situation but was left feeling unsafe.

December 14

12:05 p.m., 100 block of N. Highway 46 – A caller reported a male who was dumping chunks of concrete into a ditch on the side of the road.

3:36 p.m., at Highway 27/Main Street – A caller was concerned about a vehicle with out-of-state license plates that had been following her around for the previous three days. The caller added there were two men in the vehicle.

4:08 p.m., 100 block of Kendall Parkway – A caller reported an odd male who was smoking and wandering around the neighborhood.

5:04 p.m., 100 block of Lake Side Circle – A caller reported a vehicle parked nearby, at a vacant house in the area. A second caller reported the vehicle, saying they thought it was on private property.
