LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. Anyone with information about any of these incidents is asked to call the Boerne Police at 830- 249- 8645.
BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT December 13
12:53 p.m., 100 block of Herff Road – A caller reported her AirPods had been stolen at the location a day earlier. She reported the location that they were pinging at. The caller later reported she had located the AirPods.
2:48 p.m., on Cascade Caverns – An employee reported a theft had just occurred at the location. The shoplifter had stolen an estimated $800 to $1,000 worth of merchandise before getting in his vehicle. The thief was headed toward San Antonio and the appropriate jurisdiction was notified.
4:46 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported two thefts had occurred at the location the prior evening.
6:58 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported an incident that appeared to be an abduction. A male pulled into a parking lot, grabbed a woman and toddler, and drove off. A second caller reported hearing the male yelling, “get in the car.”
9:08 p.m., 100 block of Shade Tree – A caller reported she checked her residence’s surveillance cameras and saw a vehicle had come to the location during the night. Two males got out of the vehicle and went around the outside of the caller’s house.
December 14
7:43 a.m., 10 block of Herff Road – A caller was concerned about a vehicle near the school bus pickup. The vehicle had opened the passenger door but drove away when other vehicles were approaching the location.
9:57 a.m., 1000 block of Grand Boulevard – A caller reported a man in another vehicle was pointing something at the caller. The caller was concerned because it appeared to be a firearm.
5:55 p.m., 1200 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported her friend was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Information regarding the vehicle that drove away was provided to law enforcement and the vehicle was located.
6:17 p.m., 35000 block of W. Interstate 10 – An employee reported an altercation involving a guest at the location. The employee said two males were seen pushing each other and yelling.
7:55 p.m., at Kronkosky/Main – A male was reported to be passed out at the steering wheel of his vehicle. The male was detained and a blood draw was done.
December 15
7:21 a.m., 100 block of Katie Court – A caller reported a pickup truck was stolen during the night. Another vehicle was also reported to be stolen from the area.
12:22 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported a male who had driven off earlier without paying for gas.
2:47 p.m., at Herff Road/Oak Park Road – A caller reported a in a lane of the interstate that was blocking traffic. The caller couldn’t tell if the vehicle was occupied or not.
8:27 p.m., River Road/Main Street -- A caller reported a hit-and-run accident. The caller added that the other party had been aggressive before rear-ending the caller. The caller provided dispatch with identifying information on the vehicle.
10:27 p.m., 700 block of Oak Park Road – A caller reported hearing a woman who was screaming and crying at the location. The caller was additionally concerned because they heard loud banging noises from the area.
December 16
3:24 a.m., 100 block of Cheslyn A caller reported a vehicle parked in between two houses on her street. The caller said the vehicle’s high beams were on and it had been parked there for at least 10 minutes.
9:03 a.m., 100 block of Destiny Drive – A mother reported her son was being harassed by another student at school. The caller had a letter to provide to law enforcement as evidence.
9:56 a.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported a male who was taking lumber from a construction site in the area.
11:45 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported his cat had knocked his gun, and it had hit the table and subsequently gone off. The caller was concerned about residents who were living on floors beneath the caller. Luckily, no one was injured.
4:40 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported a vehicle appeared to have been involved in a theft earlier that week.
December 17
9:07 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a building’s door was partially open, but they could not get inside. The caller was concerned an employee may be in trouble. Boerne FD was called to assist with the matter and successfully opened the door.
5:18 p.m., 200 block of Sophia Circle – A caller reported her gun had been stolen from her vehicle. The caller suspected it had occurred a couple days earlier when she noticed her vehicle had been shuffled through. However, the caller had only just noticed the firearm was stolen.
7:38 p.m., 100 block of Copper Creek – A caller reported a vehicle was parked on the street with its headlights pointed directly at the caller’s house.
10:20 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported hearing a female screaming and yelling. The caller stressed the importance of the matter, saying how the female sounded as if she feared for her life.
