LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. NOVEMBER 29

12:45 a.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a male who shoplifted a case of beer from the business.

7:24 a.m., mile marker 525 W. Interstate 10 – Law enforcement detained an individual after a traffic stop. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.

9:16 a.m., 700 block of Front Street – A caller reported that someone had stolen a cabinet from the location. The caller was concerned about other items being stolen and requested additional patrol during the night 10:33 a.m., on Honey Bee Lane – A caller reported hearing 15 gunshots in the area. A second caller also reported hearing the gunshots. One of the callers informed law enforcement that one of the individuals located where the noise was coming from was a convicted felon.

10:53 a.m., North Creek Road – This brave caller picked up two goats who were looking to hitch hike. The caller was unsure who the goats belonged to.

NOVEMBER 30

7:35 a.m., 800 block of N. Highway 87 – A pickup truck and an RV were involved in an accident, resulting in the truck being under the RV. A third vehicle smashed into the two wrecked vehicles. One of the vehicle occupants suffered a hip injury and was bleeding from their head. Another occupant passed away as a result of the accident.

10:46 a.m., 300 block of W. Highway 46 – A passing driver reported a rollover accident. One of the occupants was trapped in the vehicle. EMS services were provided and one of the occupants was taken to the emergency room.

11:02 a.m., mile marker 529 E. I-10 – Two goats were taking their morning walk along the interstate.

12:18 p.m., on Poehnert Road – A caller reported someone had tampered with their residence’s entry gate.

12:52 p.m., 100 block of Oak Acres Lane -- A caller reported that $1,000 had been charged to her credit card.

6:19 p.m., 100 block of W. Fabra Lane – Five cows were in the middle of the road, conspiring about what to put on their Christmas lists.

DECEMBER 1

8:58 a.m., 10 block of Cedar Road – A caller reported seeing smoke coming from the top of a hill, near an RV park. Boerne FD responded to the call and found it was a controlled burn.

8:58 a.m., Scenic Loop Road – A caller reported a catalytic converter had been stolen from a motorhome the prior weekend.

10:45 a.m., 1200 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a dog that was chained outside in the backyard. The caller was concerned because it was not the first time this had occurred.

2:22 p.m., 8300 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a business truck had damaged their gate when exiting the driveway 4:02 p.m., 1400 block of N. Main Street – Two vehicles were involved in an accident. Although there were no injuries, the accident was blocking both lanes of traffic.

7:58 p.m., 600 block of W. Highway 46 – Two vehicles were involved in an accident, with one of the vehicles rolling over. Two wreckers were required for the respective vehicles. EMS was contacted for injuries.

DECEMBER 2

9:40 a.m., mile marker 529 E. I-10 – A caller recognized a driver following her who she had a protection order against. The driver also called into police to report a law enforcement vehicle following him.

11:28 a.m., on Spanish Pass Road – Three black calves unexpectedly walked themselves onto the caller’s her property.

3:05 p.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – A caller from out of town reported her brother-in-law had stolen her vehicle and was likely headed to Boerne. The caller added that he had been drinking and she was concerned he may get involved in a wreck.

8:46 p.m., 200 block of W. Headwaters Ranch Road – A caller reported an ongoing trespassing issue with a neighbor. The neighbor would come onto the caller’s property intoxicated and sometimes threaten the caller. Law enforcement contacted the neighbor who explained it was a misunderstanding and that the alleged trespassing was the only way to access his residence.

DECEMBER 3

8:56 a.m., 300 block of Kreutzberg Road – A caller reported hearing shooting in the area.

10:27 a.m., High Street/Highway 27 – Four loose cows were reported to be under the bridge, waiting for the rest of the group before going Christmas shopping.

1:54 p.m., Sky Rose Ranch Road – A caller reported that her gate was broken and suspected it was the neighbor. She said the neighbor had messed up the caller’s driveway.

2:39 p.m., 500 block of Sunflower – A caller reported hearing seven rapid gun shots and was concerned about going outside her house.

9:04 p.m., 100 block of September Lane – A caller reported dogs in her neighbor’s yard that were trying to attack her dogs.

DECEMBER 4

4:21 a.m., mile marker 540 E. I-10 – An 18-wheeler had flipped on its side and was blocking a lane of the interstate. A caller reported that a vehicle almost hit the semi.

10:34 a.m., 900 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported his weapon had been stolen but was unsure when or where it had occurred.

1:29 p.m., 100 block of Talavera – A caller reported he was being harassed on the phone by an unknown individual.

3:19 p.m., 100 block of Oak Acres Lane – A caller said he was told someone saw a vehicle in the area hit several mailboxes and then leave the location.

11:13 p.m., 100 block of Spring Valley Cove – A caller reported hearing 20 to 30 gunshots in the area. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found it was a group of individuals who were hunting pigs.

DECEMBER 5

11:01 a.m., N. Highway 87 – An employee reported someone at the location was soliciting and asking for money.

12:21 p.m., 100 block of N. Highway 87 – A security officer reported finding a bag of drug paraphernalia, including a broken glass pipe.

11:12 p.m., mile marker 533 E. I-10 – Two males were detained after a probable cause search; one was taken into custody.
