Oma’s Christmas Fair, Kendall County Fairgrounds, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a hand-crafted market show with three buildings of unique merchandise produced and showcased by approximately 100 vendors from across Texas. Santa will be visiting and spending time in Santa Land.
First Baptist Church Boerne welcomes everyone to join them for an unforgettable Christmas celebration called “Behold our God, Emmanuel!” The event will be held in First Baptist’s Worship Center at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 6 p.m.
December 5-6
• A Walk in Bethlehem at St. Helena’s Episcopal Church, 410 N. Main St. You’re invited to take a stroll with family and friends through the little town of Bethlehem to experience the story of Christ’s birth. Walk-through times are 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• A Toast To Olde Town weekend is hosted by the Boerne Retail and Restaurant Owners Association. Includes such events as: Wassail tasting and caroling contest, 4-8 p.m.; Pictures with Santa at The Dienger (by appointment only); Visit by Father Christmas, 4-8 p.m. at The Christmas Shoppe, 132 S. Main St.; and live music, craft beer, and great food from 5-8:30 p.m. at Tusculum Brewing Co., 236 S. Main St., and 9 p.m. to midnight at Salvador Dobbs, 512 River Road. • Christmas Movie and Market, Alene’s Boutique, 1491 S. Main St. The market run 2-8 p.m. There will be a movie showing of “The Polar Express” starting at 6 p.m. on an outdoor “drivein”- style movie screen; don’t forget to bring your own chairs and blankets. There will be local vendors, crafts, hot cocoa and cookies, free photos with Santa Claus, and more.
• Legacy at Cibolo, 701 Oak Park Drive, invites you to attend their Holiday Market from 4-7 p.m. Shop among unique holiday gifts for family and friends, and help support local businesses and neighbors.
• “A Christmas Cactus” opens at the Boerne Community Theatre, 8-9:30 p.m. Enjoy a comedy, mystery, and romance converge in this charming contemporary Christmas tale where goodwill and justice triumph. Tickets, $15, are available at boernetheatre.org.
December 9
• Boerne Family YMCA “Breakfast with Santa” is back by popular demand, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the YMCA, 820 Adler Road in Boerne. Enjoy a pancake breakfast hosted by Saint Peter’s Catholic Church Knights of Columbus. Every child will have the opportunity to take a picture with Santa, create a special ornament craft, compose a handwritten letter to Santa as well as make magical reindeer food. Registration is open; members, $10 per child; non-members, $25 per child.
• Customer Appreciation Day at America Reclaimed, 810 Avenue A in Comfort, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will have Shim’s Be Blessed Food Truck, Bending Branch Winery and live music in the new Longhorn Lounge. Free gift-wrapping along with 30% off Christmas items and 20% off everything else, certain exclusions applying.
• “Music in the Cave: A Nordic Christmas,” from 7-9- p.m. at A Cave Without A Name, 325 Kreutzberg, Boerne. Texas Cellos returns to the Cave Throne Room to perform a traditional Nordic (cello) choir representing a Scandinavian tradition for St. Lucia’s Day. Tickets available at cavewithoutaname.com.

• Christmas at the Creek, Cibolo Creek Community Church, 5-6 p.m. Take a break from all the baking, the shopping, the endless rolls of wrapping paper, and attend this event for an unforgettable Christmas experience complete with fun, games, music, and a meaningful celebration of Christmas.
December 17
• Boerne Concert Band presents “Christmas Comes to Town,” a free Christmas concert at 7 p.m. in the Boerne High School auditorium. Music of the Christmas season will be featured. Directed by Larry Schmidt, the band is made up of musical members from all over the Texas Hill Country and from all walks of life, including middle and high school and college students, lifetime musicians, band directors and military veterans.
