LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. NOVEMBER 1

9:13 a.m., 500 block of Theissen Street – A caller reported someone had broken a window at her house.

11:22 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported a male was shoplifting beer and groceries, placing the items in reusable shopping bags. While speaking with dispatch, the male went back and got more alcohol. The male then exited the store and was met by law enforcement.

11:49 a.m., 200 block of Charger Boulevard – A juvenile was found to be in possession of drugs. The male was detained by law enforcement.

2:13 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A car dealership employee reported narcotics had been found in one of the trade-in vehicles.

3:21 p.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported one of her tenant’s vehicles had its back windshield

smashed in.

10:28 p.m., 300 block of Esser Road – A vehicle was pulled over for a routine traffic stop. A second unit was required to conduct a probable cause search. A male was detained and a wrecker was required for the vehicle.

NOVEMBER 2

8:26 a.m., 100 block of Second Street – A caller reported a male, who had made the interesting outfit choice of wearing a silver windsuit, was walking around to the backyard of a house. The caller felt as though he didn’t belong.

12:31 p.m., 200 block of Deer Creek – A caller reported a male in an SUV was going door to door, soliciting business. The caller suspected the male was attempting to get into people’s backyards.

2:57 p.m., 100 block of Hampton Cove – A caller reported that someone had dumped “a lot” of stuff on the caller’s property.

7:55 p.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox – A caller reported she had been bitten by a dog.

NOVEMBER 3

7:10 a.m., 100 block of Telford Avenue – A caller was concerned about a van driving up and down streets in the neighborhood. The caller was worried its occupants were casing the neighborhood. Law enforcement made contact with the van; they said they were looking for a garage sale in the area.

9:13 a.m., 200 block of Third Street – A woman came into the lobby to report threats she had received via text and phone call.

9:56 a.m., 100 block of Indigo Bend – A caller reported a vehicle driving around the neighborhood, stopping at various houses. The caller added that the vehicle did not have a license plate.

4:45 p.m., 200 block of W. Hosack Street – A woman reported an unknown male had driven to her residence, exclaimed he was there for a “romantic rendezvous” and attempted to kiss the woman. When his advances were not reciprocated, he left the location.

7:32 p.m., 100 block of Bentwood Drive – A caller reported a vehicle had hit a mailbox. The caller suspected the vehicle may attempt to drive away. A second caller, the driver, called law enforcement to report the incident, adding that her vehicle was stuck. She was able to remove the vehicle and law enforcement handled the situation.

NOVEMBER 4

2:25 p.m., 100 block of S. Plant Street – A vehicle was pulled over for a routine traffic stop and a probable cause search ensued. A male was detained and taken into custody.

7:21 p.m., 700 block of River Road – A caller reported her son had been bitten by a dog earlier that day and the wound had not stopped bleeding. EMS was contacted.

8:33 p.m., 300 block of Fischer Drive – A caller requested law enforcement meet her at her residence to do a walk-through. The caller was concerned because her son had heard thudding coming from an area in the house.

NOVEMBER 5

1:43 a.m., 200 block of Lohmann Road – A caller reported his tires had been slashed for the third time. The caller explained the possible connection between the timing of the tires being slashed and his child visitation schedule.

11:11 a.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Circle – A caller reported her vehicle had been stolen during the night.

3:17 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported someone had stolen from one of the other employees at the location.

6:13 p.m., 200 block Frey Street A caller requested additional patrol from law enforcement overnight. The caller told dispatch that while he was reviewing security camera footage, he discovered a male was attempting to get on his property.

6:37 p.m., 100 block of Lina Lane – A caller was suspicious of an ice cream truck that was playing loud music in the area. The caller was concerned because we’re now in November, and it was already dark outside.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NOVEMBER 1

12:54 a.m., 100 block of Phil Wilson – A caller requested assistance from law enforcement in removing his girlfriend from the premises. The caller explained she had been drinking and attacked him. Law enforcement came to the location and an individual was detained.

8:28 a.m., on S. FM 3351 – A caller reported an old, white school bus was parked at his location, despite it being private property. The caller told dispatch that this was an ongoing issue. Law enforcement contacted the occupant of the bus and issued a trespass citation.

6:35 p.m., 100 block of Cravey Road – A caller reported three German Shepherd were running around the area and appeared to be headed towards the creek for a cold swim.

7:11 p.m., on N. Hwy. 87 – A caller said his daughter, who was working at a restaurant, told him that an odd woman began filming her when she did not give the woman her food fast enough.

NOVEMBER 2

12:29 p.m., 500 block of High Street – A caller reported his mailbox was vandalized, breaking the wooden pole that held up the mailbox.

1:40 p.m., 600 block of FM 474 – A caller reported a dozen sheep who had decided to take over traffic control for the day.

8:21 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported two males who came into the store, broke into the Air Pods case with a crowbar and were stealing. The caller added the two males had stolen from other stores. Law enforcement took the males into custody.

8:40 p.m., on Hwy. 87 – A vehicle was pulled over after they saw it was smoking. Luckily, Boerne FD didn’t need to be called as it was only mechanical issues.

NOVEMBER 3

9:09 a.m., 500 block of Roosevelt – A caller reported issues with a neighbor. The caller explained the neighbor became slightly erratic when she was drinking, doing things like flashing a bright light into the caller’s security cameras.

11:17 a.m., 100 block of Esperanza Boulevard -- A caller reported their business’s banner had been stolen. A law enforcement vehicle saw a truck taking the banner the back of the property. Law enforcement located the sign and contacted the caller.

1:43 p.m., on. N. Hwy. 87 – A caller reported their ATV had been stolen. The caller said they had been dropped off for repairs, and the business had given the ATV to someone else.

3:22 p.m., 30000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported an employee received threatening messages from an individual claiming they were on the way to the caller to cause them harm.

4:24 p.m., on Upper Balcones Road – A caller reported a male who apparently was having a rough day and was laying down along her property fence. The caller noted he had been there for three hours. Boerne FD came to the location to make sure the male was OK.

6:28 p.m., 200 block of Oak Acres Lane – A caller reported his daughter was being bullied and told to bring harm to herself.

NOVEMBER 4

8:22 a.m., 100 block of CoveneyTrail – A caller reported an armadillo they had trapped.

12:25 p.m., 38000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a woman who began tearing up property when she was asked to leave the location.

1:51 p.m., on Marquardt Road – A caller was concerned about some hunters coming near or onto her property the prior day. The caller was unsure how to handle the matter if it occurred again.

4:33 p.m., 100 block of Valley View Trail – A caller reported hearing gunshots in the area. The caller also noted hearing something break. Law enforcement located where the gunshots were coming from.

5:34 p.m., on N. Hwy. 87 – A caller was concerned a vehicle on the interstate might be involved in human trafficking. The caller said someone told them they saw people get inside the cargo hold of the vehicle. Another witness reported seeing someone moving under the bus.

7:12 p.m., 200 block of S. FM 3351 – A pony has escaped and was going for an evening stroll.

NOVEMBER 5

4:16 a.m., on N. Walnut Way/Scenic View – Four horses were found to be scheming a late-night rendezvous.

10:07 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A very determined dog managed to get himself stuck in a drainage pipe. Luckily, he was able to be removed without serious harm.

11:56 a.m., 100 block of Rust Road – A caller reported two males who appeared to be starting a fire on the side of the road by the interstate. Comfort FD handled the situation.

12:34 p.m., 300 block of W. Hwy. 46 – A caller reported someone had run through their property fence with a vehicle the previous night and cut through their gate with bolt cutters.

5:18 p.m., Old #9 Trail – A caller reported they had neighbors who were shooting and setting off bombs. The caller said this had happened the prior day too. A second caller reported hearing a similar occurrence.

7:15 p.m., on FM 1376/Guadalupe River – A caller reported someone pointed a laser at an aircraft as it was flying over the location. The pilot was reported to have been impaired but not injured.

11:09 p.m., on Hwy. 46/Cinco Lane – Six cows escaped after a property gate had been smashed. Eventually, all six cows were located and brought home for bed.
