Farmers Market at Herff Farm, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can buy products directly from local growers, ranchers, and crafters on a beautiful historic German farmstead in the Texas Hill Country. Explore our fenced gardens, pollinator meadow, and trails, and see the historic limestone Herff House. More information available at www.cibolo.org Wellness in Nature: The Teen Series, Herff Farm, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Teenagers and young adults face a wide-range of emotions as a result of the unique stresses, transitions, and experiences that come with that stage of our lives. In this series, Gillian Rodriguez, MA, LPC will teach how to integrate nature and wellness practices for mental health throughout adolescence and emerging young adulthood. These skills will benefit teens returning to school in the fall, going off to college, or boldly choosing a different path altogether.
Old Jail Museum Tours, The Old Jail Museum, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tour the Old Jail Museum and enjoy its unique exhibits! Tickets are $5 for adults, and children under 10, veterans and law enforcement are free!

JULY 02
Cibolo Nature Center Bird Survey, Cibolo Nature Center, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers will help identify and count bird species in the riparian, savannah and human structure habitats of Cibolo Nature Center and submit findings to eBird (on online database administered by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology). There will be several miles of walking on generally flat ground. All levels of birding experience are welcome! This will be a good opportunity to practice and expand birding skills.
Boerne Concert Band, Main Park Plaza, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Boerne Concert Band plays a wide range of music that people of all ages can enjoy. This group of volunteer musicians is quickly becoming one of the best preforming groups in central Texas. They always put on a great show when they play concerts in the park!
JULY 03
CLOSED: The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce will be closed on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The Chamber will reopen on Wednesday, July 5 at 9:00 am.

JULY 04
Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show, Kendall County Fairgrounds, 9;15 p.m. The best community fireworks show this side of the Cibolo Creek is scheduled to return Tuesday, July 4. The annual Boerne Independence Day fireworks show is set to begin at 9:15 p.m. and scheduled to last 20-25 minutes. The show is free and open to the public with prime viewing available at the Kendall County Fairgrounds and Champion High School. There will be a food truck vendor at City Park, but spectators can bring their own snacks and beverages.

Boerne Retail & Restaurant Owners Monthly Meeting, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This monthly meeting’s vision is to elevate a dynamic industry by transforming the environment in which retailers and restaurants operate. Cibolo Summer Series - July Workshops, Sensory Awareness Trail, Cibolo Nature Trail, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join a deep look into the mystery and beauty of Cibolo’s lands, waters, woodlands and wildlife. These easy, investigative, and enriching walks will explore a different topic/niche that connects the Hill Country landscape. This trail is a deep dive into the five senses that all humans have. This trail experience will elevate your communication skills as well as fine tuning your woodland situational awareness. Hikes are $10 to attend.
Ribbon Cutting at Assemble Cocktail Workshop, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join a ribbon cutting celebrating Assemble Cocktail Workshop! Assemble Cocktail Workshop is your one stop shop for all things cocktails! They offer event bartending services and specialty drinks, but the primary focus is the private cocktail workshops. These are great for bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, corporate happy hours and more!
Ribbon Cutting for BeLocal NW & Hill Country, Ms. Sue’s Art Studio, 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Join a ribbon cutting celebrating the launch of BeLocal NW & Hill Country! BeLocal introduces newcomers to the area they now call home, connecting new residents to the local providers they need. This publication is free to those moving to the Boerne area and includes recommended business info they may be looking for. There will be a launch party following the ribbon cutting, until 6 p.m.

Active Movement, PHPL Community Room, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join LaVada Smith as she guides you through the ancient meditative, easy movement practice of Qi gong, each Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the community room. Dress comfortably, no special equipment or mats needed. This program is part of our Silver Library Initiative.
