Farmers Market at Herff Farm, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can buy products directly from local growers, ranchers, and crafters on a beautiful historic German farmstead in the Texas Hill Country. Explore our fenced gardens, pollinator meadow, and trails, and see the historic limestone Herff House. More information available at www.cibolo.org Art in Conservation: Watercolor Class, Herff Farm, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join artist Rebecca Burritt in watercolor class where you learn to paint with the practice of the basic techniques; glazing, wetin- wet, dry brush and more. Registration is preferred, beginners are welcome and recommended age is 12 and up. Registration and more information are available at www. cibolo. org Tour de Boerne – Head for the Hills!, Don Strange Ranch, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tour de Boerne promotes outdoor recreation options, showcases the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and acquaints the cyclists to Boerne’s historic charm, thriving shops, restaurants, and a healthy business community. 100% of net proceeds are given to charities. After the ride, join the party for beer, barbeque, and live music! Food and drinks are included in the registration fee, extra tickets can be purchased at registration or at the event.

Parents’ Night Out, Boerne Family YMCA, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Need an evening out with the kids? Take this opportunity to get a well-deserved break. Go out for a night on the town feeling confident your children are safe and having the time of their lives with their favorite Boerne YMCA staff. This incredible evening is filled with a variety of fun, games, crafts and activities and they won’t want the night to end! Register online as spaces are limited.

Old Jail Museum Tours, The Old Jail Museum, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tour the Old Jail Museum and enjoy its unique exhibits! Tickets are $5 for adults, and children under 10, veterans and law enforcement are free! Kuhlmann-King Museum Tours, Kuhlmann-King Historical Complex, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Take a tour around the Kuhlmann- King property to step back in time!

Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural Museum, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Every second and fourth Saturdays of the month, bring your instrument and play along, or just come to listen to the Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural! (Formerly the Agricultural Heritage Museum) This event is free and open to the public.

The Bookshop Under the Windmill, next to PHPL Library, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bookshop Under the Windmill is open Wed - Sat from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Find some great books, magazines, and movies... all at great prices! The Bookshop is run by the Friends of the Boerne Public Library. Funds raised through the shop go back to the PHPL!

Summer Camp at the Cibolo!, Cibolo Nature Center, Hosted from June 26 to June 30. Join them for Quest at the Cibolo! Campers will explore the world of the nature at Nature Camp, Art Camp, or Culinary Camp. All activities will be held at the Cibolo Nature Center and Herff Farm where kids will have a chance to explore our 160+ acres. Ribbon Cutting for eXp Realty – Scott Southwell, Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join a ribbon cutting celebrating eXp Realty - Scott Southwell! Scott Southwell is in the business of bringing people together who want to buy and sell homes! He is known for being a problem solver when it comes to any hurdles you may experience in the buying or selling process. As life-long Texas resident, Scott knows the Hill Country area!

Ribbon Cutting for Hill Country Detours. Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Join a ribbon cutting celebrating Hill Country Detours! Hill Country Detours believe that their guests should be concerned with only one thing - enjoying their detour! They take care of all the details - the tasting fees, pick-up and drop off (they come to you), and the schedule of venues (if you’d like!). They offer private tours, mixed group, special tours, and basic transportation services.

Art Beyond The Crayons, Boerne YMCA, 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Art Beyond The Crayons is a mixed-media art class designed to allow children to work with a variety of mediums as well as give each child the opportunity to express themselves through art! $25 for members, $55 for non-members, and an additional supply fee.

City Council Meeting, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The meeting can be livestreamed at www.ci.boerne. tx. us ABENDKONZERTE, Main Plaza Park, 7:30 p.m. Come hear traditional German music and stories of Boerne’s historic past. This is a free event open to the public!

Nature Explorers, Herff Farm, 11:30 a.m. Homeschoolers ages 5-10 and their families are welcome to join our Nature Explorers Homeschool Program at the Herff Farm for a summer semester of Where does your food come from? Learn about organic gardening, nutrition, and cooking! More information and registration available at www. cibolo. org Workshop: Personalizing your Social Feed, Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Join an educational workshop titled “Personalizing Your Social Feed”, presented by Agape Creative Co. They will cover the importance of engaging with people that follow your account whether they are clients or fans and mixing personally created content with professionally created content. They will also speak on how blending the personal and professional content can save you money! The event cost is $10 for Chamber members and $35 for future members. Registration is required due to space.

Chamber Wednesday Leads Group, Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce Boardroom, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Learn how you can be part of the Chamber’s exclusive Leads Group Program and join with other dedicated Chamber member business professionals to grow and expand your business. This group fosters business development through regular meetings where each member represents a different industry or industry subset. Member Orientation, Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Member Orientation is for their newest members, new employees of established members, or veteran members who would like a refresher. Movie in the Park, Main Plaza Park, 7 p.m. Boerne Parks and Recreation hosts Movies in the Park during the spring and summer months. These free, family friendly screenings are a great time for everyone. Movies start at sundown, but come out early for some pre-movie fun starting at 7 p.m. Bring your blankets, chairs, and snacks as you enjoy some free entertainment before the movie. Tonight’s movie theme is All Star Night, wear your favorite team jersey no matter the sport and come join the fun. They will be showing Space Jam A New Legacy.

Active Movement, PHPL Community Room, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join LaVada Smith as she guides you through the ancient meditative, easy movement practice of Qi gong, each Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the community room. Dress comfortably, no special equipment or mats needed. This program is part of their Silver Library Initiative.
