•Wellness in Nature: The Teen Series, Herff Farm, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Teenagers and young adults face a wide-range of emotions as a result of the unique stresses, transitions, and experiences that come with that stage of our lives. In this series, Gillian Rodriguez, MA, LPC will teach how to integrate nature and wellness practices for mental health throughout adolescence and emerging young adulthood. These skills will benefit teens returning to school in the fall, going off to college, or boldly choosing a different path altogether.

•Old Jail Museum Tours, The Old Jail Museum, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tour the Old Jail Museum and enjoy its unique exhibits! Tickets are $5 for adults, and children under 10, veterans and law enforcement are free!
•Boerne Family Fishing Tournament, City Lake Park Pavilion, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The tournament is held each year on the first Saturday in June, which is also Free Fishing Day in Texas. That means adults fishing in this tournament are not required to carry a fishing license. The day kicks off with a morning check in followed by a pre-fishing meeting for all the participants. Fishing gets started shortly after that with the final weigh-in coming before noon. That’s when we find out who has the biggest catches of the day and hand out trophies and raffle prizes!

•Cibolo Nature Center Bird Survey, Cibolo Nature Center, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers will help identify and count bird species in the riparian, savannah and human structure habitats of Cibolo Nature Center and submit findings to eBird (on online database administered by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology). There will be several miles of walking on generally flat ground. All levels of birding experience are welcome! This will be a good opportunity to practice and expand birding skills.
•Summer Camp at the Cibolo!, Cibolo Nature Center, Hosted from June 05 to June 09. Join us for Quest at the Cibolo! Campers will explore the world of the nature at Nature Camp, Art Camp, or Culinary Camp. All activities will be held at the Cibolo Nature Center and Herff Farm where kids will have a chance to explore our 160+ acres.
