SAN ANTONIO – Boerne High girls basketball coach Amy Ruede recently coached at one of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star Games held at Taylor Field House in San Antonio.
Ruede coached the Lime Green team at the 1A-4A or Small School Girls Game that is open to graduating seniors. Trey Graham and Heather Shannon were her assistants but Graham was at the Boerne High softball playoff game being held later that day in Jourdanton.
One of the highlights for Coach Ruede is that she had the chance to coach her daughter Jamie Ruede one last time.
In the boys all-star game held the next day, also at Taylor Gym, Boerne ISD had two more representatives play. Champion’s Braden Baum and Boerne High’s Barrett Pape were scheduled to play in the boys game. Baum was scheduled to suit up for the Aqua All-Star Team and Pape with the Charcoal All-Star Team.
