Three Boerne ISD basketball players – two from Champion and one from Boerne High – played at the recent San Antonio Area Association of Basketball Coaches Girls All-Star Game.
Chargers Madyson Marquard and Addison Hankins played for Team Agusi and Boerne High’s Jamie Ruede played for Team Benavidez. The game was held at Our Lady of the Lake University and featured 24 seniors from 18 different high schools in the greater San Antonio area. Team Agusi won over Team Benavides, 93-88. The teams were named after their coaches.
