Help us weed, water, use garden tools, and all the wonderful things that are needed to help maintain a beautiful organic garden. No experience is required. There are a variety of bargains to be found such as jewelry, plants, art, handcrafts, collectibles, antiques, and more!

Boerne Art Waddle, Downtown Boerne, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 11th Annual Boerne Art Waddle will be located along the Cibolo Creek Trail. This is a relaxed, fun event with the attributes of a major fine art event. Additional details to come. More information can be found at eventsoffmain. com Boerne Handmade Market, The Cana Ballroom, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Boerne Handmade Market is the largest market of its kind in South Texas. It is a two-day event featuring 75+ handmade-only vendors, including jewelry, apparel, leather goods, toys, home décor, and art, handmade candles, food, drink, and more. Kids under 12 are free and tickets can be purchased at the door.

Old Jail Museum Tours, The Old Jail Museum, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tour the Old Jail Museum and enjoy its unique exhibits! Tickets are $5 for adults, and children under 10, veterans and law enforcement are free! Kuhlmann-King Museum Tours, Kuhlmann-King Historical Complex, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Take a tour around the Kuhlmann- King property to step back in time!

Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural Museum, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Every second and fourth Saturdays of the month, bring your instrument and play along, or just come to listen to the Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural! (Formerly the Agricultural Heritage Museum) This event is free and open to the public.

Boerne Radio Classics with Miss Constance, Boerne Radio (KBRN FM 103.9 and AM 1500), 7:45 a.m. to 8 a.m. They’re bringing back the radio serials of the past as each week we share a part of a children’s classic book. Humor, drama, and suspense as each week you await the next installment!

Herff Farm Bird Survey, Herff Farm, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers will help identify and count bird species in the riparian, savannah and human structure habitats of Herff Farm and submit findings to eBird (on online database administered by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology). There will be several miles of walking on generally flat ground. All levels of birding experience are welcome! This will be a good opportunity to practice and expand birding skills. Boerne Chamber Board of Directors Meeting, Boerne Chamber of Commerce Conference Room, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information please contact: sandieford1950@ gmail. com Ribbon Cutting for Swing Strong Inc., Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Swing Strong Inc. is a -profit organization formed to raise money and awareness of Parkinson’s disease through the Michael J Fox Foundation, by hosting various charitable events in the local community. This ribbon cutting will be on the event lawn behind the Tapatio Clubhouse, between hole 9 and 18 on the golf course.

Men’s Night at Free Roam Brewery, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The brewery is inviting men out to the beer garden once a month for some brews and inspirational speeches from a variety of guest speakers. This open invitation is for gentlemen aged 13 and up and is designed to provide a sense of community and camaraderie in a safe space where ‘guys can just be guys.’ Guests to the event can also enjoy a myriad of tasty food options provided by local food trucks as well as the brewery’s own libations throughout the evening.

Family Night Hike, Cibolo Nature Center, 7:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Enjoy the Cibolo at night! Join the trails at sunset and discover the various living organisms that call the Cibolo home. Family Night Hikes are great ways to explore the Cibolo and for children to see what lives in the park in the dark! This hike is suitable for families with small children. Kendall County Nonprofit Monthly Lunch Bunch Meeting, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A social forum for Non-Profit Boerne Chamber of Commerce members has been created. The purpose of our group is to make sure that every Kendall County nonprofit leader is aware of what is happening in the community, reduce any silos of information and to create peer mentorship/collaboration. Lunch is provided, so please RSVP to holly@boerne. org Ribbon Cutting at Crestmont Private Wealth, 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Crestmont Private Wealth is dedicated to providing independent and proactive financial advice to their clients. This includes financial planning, investment management, risk management, and generational planning. Crestmont devotes themselves and their resources to building meaningful, long-term relationships with their clients. Crestmont will be awarded one of the first awards from the Boerne Historical Society since 2009, along with a Native Plant Pollinator recognition.

Movie in the Park: Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Main Plaza Park, 7 p.m. Boerne Parks and Recreation hosts Movies in the Park during the spring and summer months. These free, family friendly screenings are a great time for everyone. Movie start at sundown, but come out early for some pre-movie fun starting at 7 p.m. Bring your blankets, chairs, and snacks as you enjoy some free entertainment before the movie.
