Boerne’s oldest Boy Scout Troop, Troop 102, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

For 100 years, Troop 102 has not only created opportunities for local youth to grow and learn, but they have also provided innumerable hours of service to the City of Boerne and other local charitable, service organizations and institutions and has honored 137 Eagle Scouts from our community.

The Troop is excited to host the return of its annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, April 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 205 James St. in Boerne.

Tickets are available through current Scouts or at the door for $15 each. Dinner is available, dine-in or take-out, and will include spaghetti, salad and dessert.

All community members, former scouts and families are invited to attend the dinner and bring along any photos, stories, and mementos from past troop activities.

All proceeds support the Troop’s general operating fund and camping adventures. For more information about the dinner or the Scouting program, please email [email protected].
