Boerne Champion hosted Seguin last Friday to wrap up the first round of district play in boys soccer and the Chargers recorded the 6-0 win.

Champion is 5-1-1 in district and 8-1-2 overall. They kicked off the second round Tuesday by hosting Wagner and tangle with Veterans Memorial on Friday.

Alfredo Castellanos led the team with 2 goals, while Jones Ferguson, Crew Pulliam, Matthew Duran and Bentley McCool all recorded 1 goal each.

Five of the six goals were assisted after Samuel Krupa, Bentley McCool, Matthew Duran, Alfredo Castellanos and Crew Pulliam finished with 1 assist each.
