BHS played two matches in consecutive days last week and beat Davenport on Thursday and then bounced Bandera Friday on the road and won by a combined score of 9-1.

The Greyhounds are 13-3-2 overall and 3-0 in district. They tangled with Great Hearts Northern Oaks Tuesday and host Wimberley Friday.

Vs. Davenport

Boerne shutout the Wolves of Davenport, 5-0, last Thursday at home in a match that was moved from Tuesday.

Against Davenport, Jess Gonzales scored on a penalty kick, Liam Griffiths and Joe Ballenger knocked in single goals with Ballenger’s coming on a throw-in, while Bear Kelly tallied 2 goals for the Hounds.

Ballenger and Brett Hettie also recorded assists in the match.

Vs. Bandera

Boerne was on the road Friday and beat Bandera, 4-1.

Jess Gonzales recorded 2 goals, while Liam Griffiths and Bear Kelly both knocked in one goal each.

All four goals were assisted and Fernando Palacios and Hudson Vickery both recorded single assists and Joe Ballenger finished with 2 assists.
