Chargers record two shutout victories in boys soccer

The Boerne Champion boys soccer team continues to play well, especially on defense, and picked up two more district wins towards the end of last week.

Champion hosted Veterans Memorial on Thursday in a game moved from Tuesday because of the weather and then visited New Braunfels Canyon on Friday.

The Chargers won both matches and their defense has been stout after they won both games via the shutout. In fact, they’ve won six games this year and recorded shutouts in five of those victories.
