Boerne Champion kicked off district boys soccer action Friday night with a road win at Wagner.
The Chargers cruised past the Thunderbirds, 3-1, to remain unbeaten this year at 4-0-2. They are scheduled to play Veterans Memorial on Thursday.
Last Friday was Champion’s first win where they didn’t shutout an opponent, but a win is a win, and they’ll take it.
