The Bobcat basketball team traveled to Brady on Tuesday and suffered a 5-point loss to the Bulldogs, 46-41.
With the loss, the Cats slip to 11-17 overall and 1-3 in District 5-3A play. They hosted Llano on Friday.
It was a close game and the Bobcats were leading by a point after one quarter, 17-16, and then the teams tied in the second to give Comfort a 25-24 halftime lead.
From there, Brady took the lead in the third quarter after they outscored the Cats in the second, 12-9, and held a 36-34 edge.
The Bulldogs did it again in the fourth and outscored the Cats by 3 points once again, 10-7, to claim the 5-point win.
Joel Lozano had a good game and led the Bobcats with 15 points, Jovani Zapata added 9, Eli Gilliland scored 6, Jaydin Steward had 5, while Terick Rodriguez, Landon Aguirre and Tony Ybarra all chipped in with 2 points.
