Geneva soccer teams both defeat Atonement Academy

Both the Geneva School of Boerne boys and girls varsity soccer teams picked up wins Friday against Atonement Academy on Senior Night.

The Geneva boys defeated Atonement Academy, 3-2.

Jackson Mitchell, Joshua Patteson and Zach Petty all scored goals for the Eagles.

In the girls match, the Geneva girls shutout Atonement Academy, 7-0, and were paced by four goals from Alex Doran, while Hayle Heinen, Sofia Griffey and Trinity Cloud added goals to complete the shutout.

It was senior night and Ellie Ledoux, Isabella Godoy, Noelle Moerdyk and Mattie Sue Arnold were honored on the girls team, while Ryvers McGray, Alex Peet, Zach Petty and Dominic Garcia were honored on the boys side.

The Eagles were back in action Monday at New Braunfels Christian Academy. The girls match was at 5:15 p.m., followed by the boys match at 7:15 p.m., both on the road.
