LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. May 4

1:17 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- Officers assisted troopers in arresting a man.

2:23 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- An employee with animal control reported a vehicle was driving erratically around school grounds while they were trying to catch stray dogs.

3:40 p.m., 400 block W. Bandera Rd.- Two women were arrested after someone reported they were walking around disoriented, and one was bleeding from the knee.

6:46 p.m., 100 block Dietert- A woman said her son works at a gas station, and “they don’t like white people.” Dispatchers said she was difficult to understand.

6:56 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- A manager at H-E-B apprehended a shoplifter. They attempted to steal $36 worth of items.

9:34 p.m., 125 Crosspoint- A woman called 911 because her daughter was yelling and screaming at her.

9:59 p.m., 125 Crosspoint- A woman called to report herself after her mother told her officers were looking for her. She waited for officers at the apartment complex.

 

May 5

135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A resident of the apartment complex reported their 2019 Ford Escape was stolen.

12 p.m., 200 block Ranch Circle Dr.- A man in North Dakota was concerned an older woman was being scammed by someone claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House.

2:34 p.m., 451 N. Main St.- A woman was concerned about comments she read online about protestors attending democratic governor candidate Beto O’Rourke’s campaign speech at the library.

2:55 p.m., 701 Oak Park Dr.- A 12-year-old boy called police to say 10 more more subjects were doing drugs. He said he called for his stepdad, but he had to hang up because he didn’t them to know he called 911.

4:13 p.m., 1 Main Plaza- A man saw two young students assault another child at the gazebo. He reported the assaulted child was walking east on Blanco Road while the other two went west.
