LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
February 4
10:38 a.m., 100 block Star Dr. - A man was arrested and transported to the county jail due to suspicious circumstances.
12:30 p.m., 200 block Aspen - A man was seen with all the neighborhood mailboxes open, going through mail and with a pile of packages at his feet. An officer made contact with him, and no arrest or crime was reported.
Officers also conducted 17 security checks, made 22 traffic stops, assisted the public 24 times, served a warrant and worked six false alarms, one non-injury accident and two animal calls.
February 5
1:21 a.m., 101 Herff Rd. - A guest at The Bevy Hotel threatened to beat up an employee of the hotel if she didn’t locate jumper cables. The employee suspected the three guests in a room were on drugs.
2:10 a.m., 539 MM I-10 W. - Medics responded to an accident when a woman complained of a head injury. Her vehicle was towed.
10:37 a.m., 3 Shooting Club Rd. - A resident at LIV Boerne initially reported being scammed out of $400, but she resolved the issue before police could respond.
1:02 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd. - A woman at H-E-B reported her phone was stolen.
1:08 p.m., 300 block S. Esser Rd. - A man with a chainsaw was seen in the woods on private property.
2:03 p.m., 100 block W. Bandera Rd. - A woman saw a man throw a liquor bottle out of his vehicle window. It was an elderly man who officers found turned into the Dairy Queen parking lot.
9:55 p.m., 150 Medical Dr. - A resident reported one of the apartment buildings smelled like weed. Officers didn’t find a source of the smell.
Officers also conducted 17 security checks, made 28 traffic stops, assisted the public 21 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked eight false alarms, one non-injury accident and four reckless drivers.
February 6
12:04 a.m., 100 Whisper Way - A mand and woman were heard arguing, and a resident suspected one of them may have kicked a dog.
12:15 a.m., 100 block Prairie Falcon - An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
5:53 a.m., 31700 I-10 W. - A man asked deputies to help him locate his sister who called him crying the night before after going to the Silver Fox bar in Leon Springs. He called officers back about five minutes later letting them know he found her.
6:48 p.m., 621 W. Bandera Rd. - Two teenagers were fighting in the Whataburger parking lot surrounded by about a dozen other teenagers, which a man said were mostly boys. The boys stopped fighting before officers arrived, but an assault report was made.
11:33 a.m., 311 E. San Antonio Ave. - A woman wanted to report a Nintendo Switch stolen, saying she had the name and address of the person she believed took it.
2:11 p.m., 100 block Jordan Place - A resident heard what they believed to be a shotgun fired once at noon and again at that time.
9:43 p.m., Scenic Loop and Sophia - An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
Officers also conducted 15 security checks, made 24 traffic stops, assisted the public 13 times and worked one non-injury accident and one reckless driver.
February 8 8:55 a.m., 400 block W. San Antonio
8:55 a.m., 400 block W. San Antonio Ave. - A man went into the police station to file a new assault report after someone from the district attorney’s office advised him to do so.
1:11 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd. - A coverage manager at H-E-B reported people kept parking in the newly painted, red fire zone near the loading dock.
3:05 p.m., 33000 I-10 W. - A man wanted to file a report against his mother for threats she made against him.
6:51 p.m., 1433 S. Main St. - A man wanted to report he was kicked out of Pizza Hut for having a service dog with him.
8:49 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane - Police were called when a man in the visitor’s stand of Boerne ISD Stadium refused to leave.
Officers also conducted 15 security checks, made 12 traffic stops, assisted the public 12 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked two false alarms, three non-injury accidents and one animal call.
February 10
1:53 a.m., Lattimore and Johns Road - An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
10 a.m., 100 block W. Blanco Rd. - A woman reported her vehicle was hit while unattended, and the other driver didn’t leave a note or try to locate her.
10:16 a.m., 100 block Bentwood - A man reported tools were stolen from his toolbox on his truck.
2:17 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane - An assault was reported at Boerne High School.
2:42 p.m., 140 Enterprise - An employee at Marks Motors reported a forged check was used at the business.
6:10 p.m., 930 N. School St. - A woman reported someone trespassed onto the Kendall County Women’s Shelter admin property and tried to choke an employee.
11:02 p.m., 300 block Hwy 46 W. - A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.
Officers also conducted 46 security checks, made 35 traffic stops, assisted the public 11 times, removed three traffic hazards and worked two false alarms and three reckless drivers.

February 4
5:37 a.m., 580 Sunflower - A woman reported the homeless man that stayed in her apartment took her calico cat.
3:23 p.m., 20 block Cordillera Trace - A woman reported a computer hard drive, a drone and a tablet went missing at different times throughout January.
5:20 p.m., 100 block Honeycomb Dr. - A man reported his friend’s girlfriend was sending him death threats by text message
Deputies also conducted a security check, made 23 traffic stops, assisted the public 18 times and worked two false alarms, two non-injury accidents, two animal calls and one reckless driver.
February 5
3:37 a.m., 526 MM I-10 W. - An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
7:33 a.m., 43 Hwy 87 N. - A driver of an 18-wheeler was nodding off at a gas pump in Comfort. A woman suspected he was on heroin, saying he had moved several gas pumps over the previous hour.
11:10 a.m., FM 1376 and Walnut Grove Rd. - Another driver was arrested during a traffic stop.
4:10 p.m., 300 block Hwy 87 N. - A man reported someone either shot a gun or sling shot at his car, shattering his window.
5:40 p.m., 1200 block FM 473 - A woman called officers when her partner locked her out of the house. She and her boyfriend had broken up and mutually agreed they needed the night apart to cool down.
9:05 p.m., 200 block Ranch Circle Dr. - Two drunk women in fleece robes got into a fist fight, causing the owner of the property to have a bloody lip. One of the women was arrested.
February 6
9:51 a.m., 1000 block FM 473 - A group of goats convened outside the od McCombs Ranch.
11:29 a.m., 6 Staudt St. - A woman wanted to know how many dogs her tenant could get before she could evict them.
9:42 p.m., 100 block Waring-Welfare Rd. - A longhorn took to the streets and refused to be locked up. An officer had contained him for a brief while, but he was reported roaming the roads shortly after. He was reluctantly pinned up by 11:34 a.m.
Deputies also made 20 traffic stops, assisted the public four times, removed a traffic hazard and worked one non-injury accident, two animal calls and two reckless drivers.
February 7
8:05 a.m., 1100 block FM 3351 N. - A deputy transporting a jail inmate was flagged down by someone reporting a father and sone were arguing.
11:56 a.m., 144 FM 289- A man found an empty syringe in the parking lot of Mueller Inc. A deputy told him the sheriff’s office doesn’t pick up syringes, but they told the man how to dispose of it.
12:27 p.m., 300 block Old Blanco Rd. - A man fell off a horse, hitting his head while not wearing a helmet. Someone reported blood was coming out of his nose from the injury. The man was airlifted to the hospital from the site.
4:35 p.m., 100 block Cibolo Ave. - A woman reported someone was harassing her by phone and showing up to her house in the middle of the night.
4:57 p.m., Herff and Old San Antonio roads - A woman was arrested after a driver reported she was unable to maintain lanes in her vehicle, nearly hitting a median and another vehicle on the road. A field sobriety test was conducted before her arrest.
6:29 p.m., 200 block Doeskin Dr. - A man wanted his backpack and laptop back from a woman he said assaulted him.
6:43 p.m., 100 block Canyon Circle - A woman reported her mother either slashed her tires or let the air out of them because she wanted to move out of her mother’s home.
11:30 p.m., 100 block Hwy 27 - An individual was detained after a positive K9 alert during a traffic stop.
Deputies also made 18 traffic stops, assisted the public 17 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked one false alarm and four non-injury accidents.
February 8
11:50 a.m., Ranger Creek and I-10-A kangaroo wearing a green shirt and a belt was taking a sip from the creek. A man was unsure if he was loose or contained.
6:53 p.m., 300 block Crabapple Rd. - A woman’s daughter hit a deer, and the daughter thought her wrist might’ve been broken.
11:03 pm., 700 block FM 289 - An 18-wheeler got stuck on the state road. A deputy drove by and let dispatch know there was “no way they will be able to get him out.” The trailer was on top of a barrier.
Deputies also made 33 traffic stops, assisted the public 11 times, served two warrants and worked three false alarms and one reckless driver.
February 9
1:23 a.m., 529 MM I-10 E. - A vehicle with Illinois plates was clocked speeding as fast as 116 miles per hour down the interstate. After initially seeming to refuse to stop for a deputy, the driver pulled over and consented to a search of the vehicle.
10 a.m., 2000 block FM 1376 - A vehicle rolled over on the state roadway, but the driver seemed fine as they denied assistance from a passerby.
10:06 a.m., 1000 block FM 473 - A group of goats gathered near the busy road. The owner got home a few minutes later and gathered up his tribe.
1:37 p.m., Jason Road - A man had footage on his security cameras of a naked guy walking around his property.
3:22 p.m., 200 block Post Oak St. - A woman called 911 but wasn’t responding to dispatchers. A man could be heard yelling at her in the background, and she was reported telling the man, “Please, I don’t want to be here,” “I wanna go home” and “I don’t want to be with you anymore.” The line was disconnected. Deputies said they could not locate the source of the call or evidence that any crime took place.
6:12 p.m., 100 block Oak Bluff Blvd. - A woman was upset with her neighbor who was driving by her house really slow several times and on one occasion spun their tires, throwing rocks at her.
Deputies also made 22 traffic stops, assisted the public 12 times and worked four reckless drivers.
February 10
2:53 a.m., 50 block Hwy 87 N. - A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
2:58 a.m., 600 block Seven Sisters Dr. - A woman was certain two people were trying to break into her home through her door and window. However, deputies found nobody outside her home when they arrived. Deputies determined the woman may be under a lot of stress due to just giving birth to twins.
11:37 a.m., 100 block Hwy 27 - Deputies assisted Kerr County officers in a high-speed chase of a man wanted for two charges of burglary of a building, clocking speeds of 120 miles per hour.
2:54 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd. - A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
3:46 p.m., 6 Staudt St. - A sexual assault was reported to deputies.
6:15 p.m., 100 block Maravillas - A construction manager reported seeing three men actively stealing decking material at a job site from security camera footage.
8:50 p.m., 522 MM I-10 E. - An 18-wheeler flipped on the interstate, blocking traffic. The driver seemed to be trapped in the truck, but no major injuries were noted.
11:02 p.m., 300 block Hwy 46 W. - A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.
Deputies also made 20 traffic stops, assisted the public 13 times, served 15 warrants and worked two false alarms and two reckless drivers.
