Even though his team scored 63 points in last week’s season opener, Geneva School of Boerne football coach Grant Gaston said there’s plenty to work on as the Eagles head into their second game of the season.

HELOTES – The tennis teams from Boerne Champion and Boerne High were entered in the Northside ISD Gold Tournament last weekend.

The Boerne Champion volleyball team played in its last tournament of the regular season last weekend and played nine matches.

The Comfort volleyball team played at the Geneva Tourney in Boerne last week and played six matches and went 0-4-2. They are 10-8-2 overall.

LAREDO – Boerne Champion had a few ups and downs in its season opener Thursday in Laredo but when the clock hit 0:00, the Chargers defeated United South, 37-27, to give Blane Ellis his first win as a head coach.

Geneva School of Boerne looked sharp in its season opener Friday night in Katy when the Eagles took on Harmony School of Innovation.
