The Boerne High boys opened their 2023-24 basketball season Tuesday at home against Northside Holmes.
It was a nip-and-tuck game but the Greyhounds held on for the 60-56 win to start the year at 1-0.

Holmes made another push in the fourth quarter and had its best period of the night with 20 points, while BHS tallied 16 to win by 4 points.
