With their 49-21 win Friday over Kerrville Tivy, the Boerne Greyhounds earned a second-place district finish -- and the right to host a first-round playoff game this week. The Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers will travel to face the 'Hounds at 7 p.m. Thursday in Boerne Stadium.
Geneva School of Boerne
The Eagles were in Corpus Christi to take on John Paul II and defeated the Centurions, 63-0. With the win, Geneva will also get to host a postseason contest this coming week in Boerne.
Geneva hosts Pantego Christian Friday in Boerne, 6 p.m. to open the first round.
Comfort High
The Bobcats closed out the regular season with a road trip to Blanco. The Panthers defeated Comfort 40-7 to close out the 2024 season for the Bobcats.
Boerne Champion
The Pieper Warriors closed out their regular season with a perfect 10-0 mark after they defeated Champion Thursday at BISD Stadium, 69-27.
Champion closes out its 2024 season at 5-5 overall and 2-5 in district, while the Warriors will host a playoff game next week to start the postseason.
