City gears up Boerne Boo!

BOERNE — Join the city of Boerne for a frighteningly good time at the ninth annual Boerne Boo! Celebration Saturday.

The Boerne Parks and Recreation Department teams up with the Patrick Heath Public Library to host the free, family- fun-filled event from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Heath Library campus, 451 N. Main St.

Activities will include arts and crafts, trick or treating, carnival games, music, and of course lots of candy and prizes.

There will also be a costume contest for kids, adults, and pets, so come dressed to scare and “(Zom)Bie Our Guest!”

The schedule of events is as follows: • 4-7 p.m. — Family free time to explore fun zones.

• 6:15-6:50 p.m. — Parade of costumes (contest).

• 6:50-7 p.m. — Costume contest winners announced, and prizes awarded.

Put your best costume on — you and your dog — and don’t miss out on the fun.
