Boerne High tennis coach Tyson Stewart was recently named the Texas High School Coaches Association Region 8 Boys and Girls Coach of the Year. Stewart begins his third season with Boerne High and led the Greyhounds to the state tournament during the 2022 fall team tennis season where they finished second to earn silver medals. In the individual spring season, Stewart has helped coach nine entries to the state tournament and had a boys doubles team win gold in 2023.
