BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. OCTOBER 11

7:26 a.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – Two males were reported to be fighting in a parking lot.

10:00 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported a male who was possibly experiencing mental issues. The male was screaming and was yelling that someone was attacking him, despite no one being near him.

10:24 a.m., 1500 block of S. Main St. – A female was detained and taken into custody after a traffic stop.

5:35 p.m., 400 block of N. Main St. – An employee with an aftercare group reported a male taking pictures and following around the kids. The employee provided dispatch with the last known location of the male. A second caller reported the suspicious- acting male. Law enforcement was able to locate the male and he was detained.

10:23 p.m., 400 block of S. Main St. – A woman was concerned when she came to the parking lot after dinner and her vehicle was not there. Her vehicle ended up being located at a vehicle down the road.

OCTOBER 12

11:21 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported identity theft on social media.

3:32 p.m., 300 block of S. Esser Road – A caller reported a possible child abduction in progress. The caller was concerned about a boy in a truck and a girl next to a van. A second caller reported the kids were then both in the van, sounded distressed, and were calling out for help.

5:13 p.m., 200 block of Charger Blvd. – A police officer was requested to assist with a minor who was threatening the staff. The minor was detained.

8:55 p.m., 700 block of Oak Park Drive – A caller reported a snake in the hallway of her apartment complex. The caller said she was terrified of snakes and requested assistance in removing the creature.

10:58 p.m., 200 block of Granite Shores Drive – A caller wanted to report a video she had seen on social media involving an active-duty member of the military soliciting a minor. The caller was directed to contact the appropriate jurisdiction.

OCTOBER 13

1:00 a.m., 1200 block S. Main St. – A caller reported that she could hear a woman screaming and crying, reportedly a reoccurring issue.

1:15 a.m., 1000 block of River Road – A caller was concerned that his roommate was doing drugs again. The roommate had been in the restroom for over an hour and was acting very oddly. Law enforcement came to the location and immediately called an ambulance due to the condition of the roommate.

10:57 a.m., Shooting Club Road – A woman who was staying with someone while she as looking for an apartment in the area was concerned that the individual had been recording her in the shower and taking photos.

12:14 p.m., 35000 block of W. Interstate 10 – An employee reported a guest who had only been in the room a day but had already damaged the room. The caller added they suspected the guest had been drinking. The guest was located at a different hotel and needed EMS services.

6:40 p.m., E. San Antonio Road/ Saunders St. – A caller said a male had threatened her and her mother. The caller said while they were setting up a booth, the male almost ran over them with his vehicle. The male then proceeded to yell at them.

OCTOBER 14

1:17 a.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge Drive – A male was detained and taken to jail after a traffic stop.

1:06 p.m., 100 block of Lone Star – A caller suspected a driver was intoxicated. The motorist was driving recklessly and yelling at the caller’s husband. While speaking with dispatch, the driver got out of his vehicle to fight with a neighbor and then got back in the vehicle. The driver was detained and required EMS services.

1:17 p.m., 31000 block of E. Interstate 10 – A manager of a car dealership was concerned that a vehicle had been stolen. A couple hours later the manager discovered that it was just a technological glitch in their system.

2:43 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported she was being harassed by her cousin and was requesting assistance from law enforcement.

OCTOBER 15

12:11 a.m., 1200 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported that someone had come into her apartment. The caller said she had awoken to someone inappropriately touching her. The caller recognized the male but was unsure of his identity.

6:40 a.m., 34000 block of E. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a vehicle that was only half on the curb, with the driver passed out over the steering wheel.

8:44 a.m., 300 block of Deer Creek Drive - A caller was concerned she had a raccoon in her backyard that was sick.

4:12 p.m., at River Road/Herff Road – A caller reported a two-vehicle accident. The caller said it appeared one of the vehicles may have run a red light. Air bags were deployed in one of the vehicles. One of the occupants called and needed medical attention. 5:33 p.m., 100 block of Cherry St. – A caller reported hearing seven consecutive gunshots within city limits.

7:03 p.m., 500 block of Adler Road – A caller reported graffiti on the interior of the bathrooms at the park. The caller noted that when he had been there earlier that morning, the graffiti was not there.

4:19 p.m., 100 block of Medical Drive – A caller reported an unknown female who had been sitting outside the caller’s apartment for approximately an hour.

7:29 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported a male had shoplifted almost $75 worth of alcohol from the location.

8:21 p.m., 100 block of N. Main St. – A caller reported a $700 pair of designer sunglasses had been stolen from the location. The location had video surveillance of the incident.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE OCTOBER 11

8:19 a.m., Highway 46/Ammann Road – A caller reported his employee was involved in a vehicle accident. The caller informed dispatch it sounded as though the employee needed EMS services.

9:53 a.m., 100 block of Ulmus Road – A caller reported receiving threats via their cell phone.

11:12 a.m., Highway 46 E./Brandy Road – Bergheim FD began investigating a brush fire. Law enforcement was called to the scene to issue a burn ban.

11:28 a.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – A caller suspected his neighbor had stolen his trash can. The caller later told dispatch that it may have been the garbage company that took the trash can.

7:14 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported someone slashed his tires in the parking lot.

OCTOBER 12

9:04 a.m., 7800 block of Sweetwind Circle – A caller reported two bucks had gotten their antlers tangled up in an argument.

11:31 a.m., 100 block of Misty Trail – A caller requested assistance in removing someone from the property who had been evicted. The male was taken into custody.

1:02 p.m., N. Highway 87 – A manager said an individual in the parking lot was asking customers for food.

5:43 p.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – There was a verbal argument reported between a male and his neighbor. The two had also had a verbal disagreement the night before. Law enforcement came to the location and temporarily detained the male.

OCTOBER 13

12:00 a.m., 100 block of Spring Valley Cove – A caller reported her cousin had been sending the caller’s mother harassing and threatening text messages.

8:02 a.m., mile marker 525 E. Interstate 10 – A rollover accident occurred. The vehicle ended up in the median of the road. Luckily, there were no serious injuries. A wrecker retrieved the vehicle.

9:22 p.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge Road – An employee reported someone had damaged the office bathroom, including breaking a window. The employee added that it may have been connected to a vehicle that was at the location earlier in the evening.

OCTOBER 14

1:17 a.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge Road – A male was detained and read his rights after a traffic stop. The male was then taken to jail.

8:28 a.m., 1000 block of S. Highway 87 – A caller reported they had been involved in a rear-end accident and were experiencing back and ankle pain. EMS was contacted.

9:43 a.m., 100 block of Kreutzberg Road – A caller reported that her vehicle had been stolen last week and was now pinging in Kendall County. The caller explained she had attempted to find it, but it showed that it was on private property. Law enforcement investigated and found that the vehicle was under contract with a dealership.

11:57 a.m., 900 block of FM 473 – A caller reported that a motorcyclist had hit a deer and flew off the road. An ambulance was called for the motorcyclist who was reporting “pain all over”.

11:41 a.m., 37000 block of Interstate 10 – A caller reported that he had been assaulted by an employee the previous week at an office function. The caller informed dispatch that the caller had been fired because of the incident and wanted the matter documented.

OCTOBER 15

10:11 a.m., 100 block of August Lane – A caller reported that there was a pit bull in the neighborhood running around that attempted to attack the caller’s daughter.

11:11 a.m., 300 block of Eagle Drive – A sale agent reported a house for sale had been broken into and items were stolen.

11:50 a.m., 400 block of Kendall Parkway – A toddler was reported to have locked herself in the bathroom. Boerne FD was called to assist.

5:45 p.m., 700 block of Fifth Street – A caller reported a neighbor who appeared to be stealing construction materials from a nearby house. The neighbor was invested and apparently pulled the material out of the ground and loaded it into this truck.

6:40 p.m., FM 1376/Shooting Club Road – A caller requested that law enforcement search the area after hearing 10 consecutive gunshots. The caller assumed they were dove hunters but wanted confirmation.
