LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. SEPTEMBER 13

12:00 a.m., 100 block of Paniolo Ranch – A caller reported a vehicle had pulled up to a vacant house and had been sitting outside the location for 35-40 minutes.

5:56 a.m., 200 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported a male who was angrily walking away after having to pay for his coffee. The caller reported the male “cussed [him] out.”

8:56 a.m., 100 block of Calk Lane – A caller reported someone broke into her vehicle the previous day and had taken her purse. The caller explained her cell phone was in the purse and the number had since been disconnected.

5:03 p.m., 100 block of E. Evergreen St. – A caller reported they had the misfortune of trapping a skunk right below the caller’s bedroom window. The caller wanted to know if the city would come pick up the skunk.

7:18 p.m., 100 block of Cactus Pear – A caller reported a vehicle was slowly driving around the neighborhood. The caller reported that when they had started following the vehicle, the vehicle quickly took off.

SEPTEMBER 14

5:35 a.m., 600 block of N. Main St. – A caller initially reported a power line was down and flames were coming from the pole. The caller then explained the line had not fallen. In addition to the electrical department, Boerne FD was called to the scene and managed the situation.

7:19 a.m., on Main Plaza – An employee with the parks department reported a mirror in the men’s bathroom had been shattered.

10:37 a.m., Greyhound Lane – A caller reported hearing a rumor of a school shooting threat. Law enforcement told the caller they were already aware of the threat. The alleged threat was actually recorded in the Northeast School District.

2:27 p.m., 400 block of N. Main St. – A caller reported her phone had been stolen. The caller suspected it had been stolen three days earlier.

3:05 p.m., 100 block of Oak Knoll Circle – A caller reported a suspicious looking male who was wearing a lime-green sweatshirt, carrying a notepad and binoculars. The caller was concerned because it appeared the male was looking at houses in the neighborhood. Law enforcement found out the male, along with three others, was surveying telephone poles for work.

6:27 p.m., Oak Park/Frey – A caller reported a van was pouring an odd-looking substance from buckets into the drain. Law enforcement found the odd-looking substance to be water.

SEPTEMBER 15

12:19 a.m., on Greyhound Lane – A caller reported an individual who was walking around the back of the school. It was suspected the individual was one of many still leaving the football game.

12:09 p.m., 200 block of Rock Canyon Drive – A caller reported a residential front door was wide open, with dogs heard barking from inside the house. When the caller approached the front door, no one answered the caller.

12:54 p.m., mile marker 539, W. I-10 – A caller reported a woman who had crossed the interstate with her grocery cart and was in the median.

4:06 p.m., at Esser/Greyhound – A caller reported witnessing a three-vehicle accident. Although three wreckers were required for each of the vehicles, there were no sustained injuries. The accident temporarily blocked the road and traffic was stopped.

9:40 p.m., 3200 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle in front of a business with at least one person, possibly more, walking around the building.

SEPTEMBER 16

8:23 a.m., 3100 block of W. I-10 – A puppy was spotted running around the Bill Millers’ parking lot, looking to secure a tasty breakfast. Animal control was contacted to help the puppy find his way back home.

9:43 a.m., at Plant/Theissen – A caller reported a male, wearing shorts and a dark shirt, was exhibiting suspicious behavior, including side-eyeing the caller.

1:48 p.m., on Cascade Caverns – A manager reported a woman who was yelling and possibly intoxicated. While on the phone with dispatch, the woman left the location.

3:19 p.m., 100 block of City Lake Road – A caller reported hearing an assault rifle going off. The caller also disclaimed there was a shooting range nearby. Law enforcement investigated the matter and did not find any criminal activity.

4:05 p.m., 1200 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported someone has scratched his vehicle.

7:16 p.m., 100 block of Cactus Flower – A caller reported a male looked in her window during two different points of the day.

7:51 p.m., 800 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported a male who was face down and appeared to be intoxicated. The male woke up when the caller spoke to him but seemed incoherent. Law enforcement came to the scene and detained the male.

SEPTEMBER 17

10:20 a.m., at Deep Hollow/ Hwy 46 West – A caller reported two motorcycles involved in an accident. EMS was called to the scene. When emergency services arrived, all parties involved in the accident had departed.

12:01 p.m., on Shooting Club – A caller reported that someone tried to steal the catalytic converter from his vehicle.

4:04 p.m., 100 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported some teenagers were in the store harassing employees and breaking things the previous night. The caller said the teenagers filmed the incident and posted videos of it on social media.

4:33 p.m., on Cascade Caverns – A caller reported about 200 people on the field, drinking and playing soccer. The caller was unamused that drinking was occurring on school property and told dispatch the people should not be doing that.

7:58 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – A woman reported her boyfriend was hurting her. The boyfriend took away her phone while she was speaking with dispatch and then took off. Law enforcement was able to locate the boyfriend.

9:00 p.m., 700 block of Oak Park Drive – A caller reported his “friend” had assaulted him. The caller explained he and his friend were talking and then the friend threw the first punch. The friend also held a knife to the caller’s throat and verbally threatened him. Law enforcement came to the location and the friend was detained.

SEPTEMBER 18

10:19 a.m., 100 block of Sophia Circle – A caller was concerned about a male who appeared to be carrying two large, heavy duffle bags.

1:33 p.m., mile marker 540, W. I-10 -- A two-vehicle accident occurred on the interstate. Although there were no injuries, the accident did block traffic. A wrecker was needed for one of the vehicles.

3:47 p.m., 100 block of Adler St. – A caller reported his wife had told him her former boss had sexually harassed her.

4:20 p.m., 100 block of Crosspoint Road – A property manager reported her store had been broken into sometime during the weekend.

6:39 p.m., 100 block of Rattlesnake Bluff – A caller reported her husband was drunk and had begun throwing things. The caller noted there were no injuries. Law enforcement came to the scene and deescalated the situation.

SEPTEMBER 19

12:25 a.m., 100 block of Menger Springs – A caller reported a client who was getting aggressive with his family.

3:19 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – After receiving a tip for possible skimmers on card readers at the location, law enforcement went to check them out. Luckily, none were found.

4:22 p.m., 600 block of N. Main St. – A caller reported a truck had hit a parked truck. There was debris left in the road. A wrecker was required for each vehicle. One of the parties involved was experiencing head pain and received medical attention.

6:59 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported a male was passed out next to Walmart. As the caller was speaking with dispatch, the male woke up, inhaling what appeared to be a chemical cleaner, and began walking into Boerne.

7:13 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road -- A caller reported a physical disturbance between three males. One of the males was reported to be holding another male on the ground.

10:38 p.m., 400 block of Rosewood Ave. -- A caller reported his friend had stolen around $700 from him. He didn’t notice the money was missing until after the caller left.

SEPTEMBER 13

4:17 a.m., 1500 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported a male was attempting to break into her vehicle. The caller initially said she was holding the male at gunpoint but later retracted this statement. Law enforcement came to the location and took the male into custody. Another male involved was tracked down by law enforcement and detained.

7:48 a.m., 100 block of Wollschlaeger Drive – In what seems to be a reoccurring theme with this house, the homeowner reported he had trapped a possum.

10:43 a.m., on FM 474/Spring Creek – A caller reported a dark-colored vehicle was parked and had the door open. The caller said it appeared to be abandoned. Law enforcement found the vehicle’s owner sitting in the vehicle, waiting for a tow truck because of a flat tire.

11:30 a.m., 500 block of Red Oak Drive – A caller was concerned about fraud when they were notified of an account in their name had been opened at a furniture place in Florida. A Florida man answered the phone and did not find an account with the caller’s information.

5:58 p.m., on N. Hwy 87 – A caller reported two cows who showed up unexpectedly for dinner.

7:24 p.m., 100 block of Fabra Lane – A caller reported someone who was shooting handguns in the direction of the street. The caller even noted a target had been set up on the fence.

SEPTEMBER 14

7:59 a.m., on S. FM 3351 – A caller reported a suspicious person. Law enforcement found the individual was sleeping in a hammock, but he would be moving on after he got his morning coffee.

10:50 a.m., 600 block of High St. – A caller reported a female who was going business-to-business asking for money. The caller provided law enforcement with the suspect’s vehicle information.

4:17 p.m., 100 block of Winchester Drive – A caller reported his house was on fire. Bergheim FD and Sisterdale FD were initially called to the location, with Boerne FD and Leon Springs later responding. They found there was no grass fire, but instead an explosion had occurred related to the power line. The power line was shut off and the fire was successfully extinguished.

5:39 p.m., 200 block of Winchester Drive – A caller reported a possum appeared to be sick and dying in his backyard. Animal control recommended placing a trap.

8:55 p.m., 100 block of Walnut Grove Road – A caller reported a vehicle had backed up to the gate of an abandoned house. Law enforcement found the vehicle had a flat tire and was unoccupied.

SEPTEMBER 15

7:05 a.m., 100 block of E. Apacheria Pass – A caller reported a small car driving slowly and erratically throughout the neighborhood. The caller noted a male and female in the front of the vehicle. The vehicle departed and headed towards Kerrville. Kerr County law enforcement was notified.

8:46 a.m., 400 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a vehicle was parked in the driveway of a vacant house. The caller explained no one should be at the location. The vehicle was found to have a flat tire and was unoccupied.

9:15 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller wanted to report theft of service and was redirected to filing in small claims court.

3:18 p.m., 40000 block of W, I-10 – A property owner reported vehicles were trespassing and trying to load people into the vehicles. He said he had asked them to leave, and they refused.

4:13 p.m., 600 block of E. Hwy 46 – A vehicle hit a deer, resulting in damage to two other vehicles. The initial vehicle then left the scene. A wrecker was needed for one of the remaining vehicles. Law enforcement was able to locate the initial vehicle that hit the deer.

8:01 p.m., 400 block of Wild Turkey Blvd. – A caller was concerned about a shirtless male with a gun who was yelling at a woman. The caller explained they had heard gunshots 20 minutes prior but was unsure if the two incidents were related. Law enforcement arrived at the situation, and everyone appeared to be OK.

SEPTEMBER 16

10:14 a.m., 100 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a woman who was possibly intoxicated because she was holding a tall can. The caller did not provide additional explanation for the intoxication suspicion. No further information was given for the location of the female and law enforcement were unable to locate her.

10:36 a.m., 100 block of River Crossing – A caller reported his former landscaper was harassing him, alleging the caller owed him money. Law enforcement attempted to contact the landscaper but was unsuccessful.

4:18 p.m., 100 block of River Bend Road – A caller reported someone in the area was shooting. The caller said one of the bullets had gone past her husband’s head. Law enforcement made contact with the location across from the caller’s residence. They admitted they had been firing shotguns and rifles. They assured they would be shooting in a different area.

5:55 p.m., on Hwy. 87 – A caller reported a male who was trespassing and camping on the caller’s property. The caller did not want to confront the male but asked law enforcement to remove him.

7:52 p.m., at FM 3351/Kendall Woods Drive – A caller reported a male who was behaving oddly. The caller reported the male was going from residence to residence in the neighborhood. Then, the caller said the man began pointing and got on the ground and prayed before departing.

SEPTEMBER 17

1:23 a.m., 33000 block of E. I-10 – A caller was screaming at someone to stop. Dispatch noted someone was yelling they were being choked. An additional caller, who was present at the scene, reported that someone tried to run an individual off the road. When both vehicles pulled over, a physical fight ensued. Three males were detained, and ambulances were called.

12:00 p.m., 700 block of E. Hwy. 46 – A caller reported a goat was loose on the road looking for a place to grab a quick lunch, before he was caught.

5:38 p.m., at FM 1376/ Nollkamper – Inspired by the lone goat, an entire field of goats escaped for a nice Sunday dinner of grazing.

5:53 p.m., 400 block of Comfort Place – A caller reported an intoxicated male who had assaulted the caller’s wife. The wife required EMS services. Law enforcement came to the scene and the male was taken into custody.

6:55 p.m., FM 474/Kreutzberg – A caller reported a brown horse went for an evening run.

11:10 p.m., 100 block of Siebeneicher Road – A game warden with Kerr County reported receiving a call from Austin dispatch regarding poaching occurring within Kendall County. Law enforcement made contact with the property owner who said they had heard a gunshot.

SEPTEMBER 18

1:43 a.m., 1500 block of Guadalupe Bend – A caller reported he had been assaulted by his wife. He alleged she threw a phone at him, resulting in his head bleeding. Both parties had been drinking. Law enforcement came to location and the female was detained. Medical services were provided.

10:28 a.m., 700 block of South St. – A resident reported finding a door someone had attempted to break into. He noted that it did not appear they had gotten in, and nothing was missing.

11:19 a.m., at Hwy. 87 N./ Camino Del Reserve N. – A male was detained and taken to jail after a traffic stop.

2:18 p.m., 100 block of Ammann Road – A mother reported her social media accounts had been hacked. The hacker had contacted the mother’s young children via social media. The hacker was also reaching out to the mother’s friends to sell them Bitcoin.

3:29 p.m., 500 block of S. School St. – A caller reported someone had dumped three large industrial-sized garbage bags filled with trash. Her animals had gotten into the trash, creating a large mess.

4:55 p.m., 600 block of Fifth St. – A caller reported his phone was stolen when he was in Arizona. Unfortunately, it was not in KCSO jurisdiction.

SEPTEMBER 19

9:21 a.m., mile marker 532 E. I-10 – A motorcycle was reported to be doing 90-100 mph on the interstate. At one point, the motorcycle was found going as fast as 130 mph, the driver tossing some items as he drove. The items included marijuana, a vape pen, a glass meth pipe, and a baggie. The driver was taken into custody.

9:24 a.m., 900 block of E. Hwy. 46 – A manager reported one of his employees was drunk. Law enforcement spoke with the employee who explained he drank the previous evening and was unable to sleep at night, hence the odd behavior.

10:19 a.m., N. Hwy. 87 – A caller reported a shirtless male who was intoxicated and drinking on the location. The caller said the male was threatening to beat up the location’s employees.

12:54 p.m., N. Hwy. 87 – An employee reported a male on location who was refusing to leave the location. The male had locked himself in a bathroom stall. Law enforcement came to the location.

4:03 p.m., 500 block of E. Hwy. 46 – A caller reported a rock was thrown out of someone’s car window, hitting the caller’s rear window, breaking it.
