AUGUST 23

7:37 a.m., Cascade Caverns – A caller reported a vehicle had been broken into the night before.

7:39 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio – A caller reported two vehicles had been broken into the previous evening.

7:58 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – An employee reported a vehicle had been parked there for a week. The vehicle was on private property and law enforcement could not take any action.

10:14 a.m., 600 block of S. Plant Ave. – A woman called in to report her ex-boyfriend attempted to poison her dog and put glass in the dog’s food. The woman also reported the dog had run away. Animal Control was contacted.

3:49 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported a gun had been stolen from his vehicle in the previous four days.

3:50 p.m., 200 block of Ivy Lane – A property manager reported two vehicles had been broken into. The manager has video footage of the incident.

5:35 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – An employee reported his bike was stolen.

AUGUST 24

1:06 a.m., 1000 block of Grand Blvd. – A caller reported her ex-boyfriend had called her work and threatened her to give him money.

8:35 p.m., 500 block of O’Grady Road – A caller reported her neighbors were messing with her vehicle. The caller reported they were touching it, putting items on it, and taking pictures of the vehicle.

9:25 p.m. – 34000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported a suspicious male who had asked the caller about a female who was nearby. The caller reported the individual was wearing a “DA badge.”

9:38 p.m., 200 block of Ivy Lane – A caller reported overhearing a male and female arguing. The arguing involved screaming and yelling; the caller suspected they had been drinking.

AUGUST 25

8:06 a.m., 1000 block of River Road – A male was reported to have broken out of a facility. A man on a mission; he made a run for the ducks. The male was located and detained.

7:43 p.m., Lohmann at Main – A male was detained after a traffic stop. It was noted he was read his Miranda Rights.

9:10 p.m., 400 block of Hampton Cove – A caller reported that people were yelling at each other, and she could hear children crying. Law enforcement came to the scene and separated the involved parties.

9:31 p.m., 200 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported that while parked at a restaurant, another vehicle hit their vehicle and drove away without leaving any information.

10:15 p.m., 1500 block of River Road – A caller reported four adult males, who were drinking, were involved in a verbal argument, with children nearby.

AUGUST 26

11:00 a.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller with the Parks and Rec Department reported a father and son who were using ropes to climb trees.

12:02 p.m., 200 block of W Bandera Road – A caller reported her sister’s vehicle was hit and the other driver drove off. The accident happened 15 minutes before the call was made.

12:30 p.m., 300 block of Lott St. – A caller reported an individual had been arrested the week before and was not supposed to be at the location. The caller had been told to report it if he saw the individual.

3:20 p.m., Greyhound Lane – An individual came in to report someone made threats against his juvenile daughter.

5:21 p.m., 100 block of Moss Rose – A caller reported that wooden patio furniture was stolen off someone’s porch. The caller explained no one was presently residing in the house, but the caller had noticed the furniture was missing.

8:30 p.m., 100 block of Staffel -- A caller reported a duck that had been injured and was missing one of its feet.

9:58 p.m., 1200 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported that he was on the side of his RV when his intoxicated ex-girlfriend began driving. The caller required EMS services. The ex-girlfriend was located and detained. While she was being detained, smoke was seen coming from inside the RV. Boerne FD was called to the scene.

AUGUST 27

9:29 a.m., 300 block of Chaparral Creek – A caller reported both of his vehicles had been stolen during the night.

4:08 p.m., 1100 block of River Road – A caller reported a sexual assault had occurred over the weekend. The caller provided dispatch with the name of the individual.

5:53 p.m., Ranger Creek/I-10 – A caller reported a truck was driving into oncoming traffic and ran the caller off the road. The caller sustained minor vehicle damage and was following the truck. The caller estimated the truck was going 60 mph on Boerne side roads.

10:13 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported she could hear a male and female arguing and yelling in the apartment above the caller. The caller noted they could hear children crying. Law enforcement came to the location.

AUGUST 28

4:55 a.m., 100 block of Retama Road -- A caller reported someone had ransacked her truck. The caller said she had the alarm off but did not see any damage to her vehicle.

5:48 a.m., 100 block of Del Mar Road – A caller reported his vehicle had been broken into overnight. The caller remembered locking the vehicle; however, someone had broken in and the contents of the glove box were thrown around the car.

6:02 a.m., 100 block of Hidden Haven Drive – A caller reported her vehicle had been stolen during the night.

6:13 a.m., 100 block of Dover Downs – A caller reported her vehicle had been stolen the previous night. The caller had a tracker on the vehicle and was attempting to locate the vehicle that way. The vehicle was later pinging in Pharr, Texas; Pharr law enforcement was notified.

6:34 a.m., 100 block of Vista Verde – A caller reported finding her vehicle’s glove box open and her pistol stolen. The caller informed dispatch her vehicle was locked and there were no broken windows nor any other type of damage.

7:13 a.m., 200 block of Maxwell Drive – Bad day to be a vehicle owner ... yet another caller reported a vehicle had been broken into during the night. This caller managed to get video footage of the incident.

7:16 a.m., 200 block of Maxwell Drive – Another caller reported their vehicle was broken into during the night.

8:11 a.m., 200 block of Hunters Creek – A caller reported that her vehicle had been broken into during the night and her neighbor had video of the break in.

8:16 a.m., 100 block of Del Mar – Another resident reported a vehicle was broken into during the night.

8:36 a.m., 200 block of Hunters Creek – A caller reported she had video of a male breaking into her vehicle. The caller was able to obtain the license plate of the male.

9:13 a.m., 200 block of Hunters Creek – A caller reported his vehicle was broken into during the previous night.

12;19 p.m., 100 block of Creekside – The misfortune continued when another caller reported his vehicle had been broken into. Luckily, the caller did not find anything to be missing.

1:43 p.m. 100 block of Deer Hollow – A caller reported his vehicle had been broken into.

AUGUST 29

6:20 p.m., 400 block of Stone Creek – A caller reported that someone had stolen pictures of the caller’s child and posted them online.

7:49 p.m., 900 block of N. Hwy 87 – A single-vehicle accident occurred, resulting in the vehicle going off the roadway and hitting the guardrail. The male was detained, and a breathalyzer was administered. A wrecker was needed for the vehicle.

10:36 p.m., 100 block of Jolie Circle – A caller reported a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in the neighborhood for around 20 minutes. When the caller went out with a flashlight, the vehicle drove away. The caller followed the vehicle but could not identify the license plates.

AUGUST 23

4:20 a.m., 28000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a truck with Mexican license plates was swerving all over the road.

9:31 a.m., 10000 block of Johns Road – A caller reported a black cow on the side of the road that was on its way into town.

10:58 a.m., 100 block of Nollkamper – A caller reported seeing a large amount of smoke in the area. The caller acknowledged they still some distance from the smoke but provided an estimated area. Boerne FD located a small fire in a trash can and extinguished it.

11:49 a.m., on N. Hwy 87 – A caller reported a vehicle had been parked in the middle of the driveway since 4 a.m. that morning. The caller could not tell if the vehicle was occupied.

3:34 p.m., 1000 block of S. Hwy. 87 – A caller reported her ex-husband was threatening to harm her via text message.

6:31 p.m., mile marker 534, E. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle suspected of fraudulent representation of a police vehicle. The vehicle had police lights on but was driving erratically and attempting to block the road. The vehicle headed into Bexar County and Bexar County law enforcement was contacted.

AUGUST 24

1:02 p.m., mile marker 536, W. I-10 – An Amazon driver who was hustling to meet the two-day shipping deadline was reported to be running vehicles off the road. Law enforcement made contact with the driver, and it was found that he was having issues with his front tire.

1:52 p.m., 100 block of Oak Bluff Blvd. – A caller reported her ex-partner had broken the taillight on her vehicle.

5:26 p.m., 42000 block of W. I-10 – A caller was inquiring about pressing harassment charges against her ex-boyfriend. She told dispatch he had filed false CPS reports against her.

7:38 p.m., 2700 block of FM 473 – A caller reported a fire was quickly spreading and said it had already jumped the road. Other people called to report the fire. Bergheim and Kendalia FDs were called to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.

8:02 p.m., 1500 block of Canyon Point – A caller reported a case of identity theft. Someone had obtained the account holder’s Social Security number and changed the phone number on the account. The individual had attempted to steal almost $10,000.

AUGUST 25

7:29 a.m., 400 block of N. Hwy. 87 – Two horses escaped for an early morning breakfast date.

7:57 a.m., 500 block of Roosevelt Ave. – A caller requested assistance in getting her dog out of some bamboo chutes on her property.

10:00 a.m., 100 block of Thunder Valley Road – A caller reported his neighbor had harassed him the prior day.

12:34 p.m., on Coughran Road – A caller reported that a 30-foot mobile office trailer had been stolen sometime the previous week.

1:44 p.m., 100 block of N. Oak Bluff Blvd. – A caller reported a male with tattoos and sunglasses was going around the house, banging on all the doors. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, the individual had already driven away.

3:40 p.m., 100 block of July Lane – A caller reported a male crawling across her front yard with a shoe in his hand and one missing from his foot. The caller did not recognize the make and was concerned. Law enforcement came to the scene and found that the male was a friend of the caller, but he had fallen off the porch, into the bushes.

AUGUST 26

1:01 a.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a male walking under the bridge. The caller was concerned because it appeared the male was a minor who had a firearm. Law enforcement looked for the individual but were unsuccessful.

11:28 a.m., 400 block of W. Hwy. 46 – A caller reported a hawk with a suspected broken wing. The caller waited with the bird for animal control.

3:59 p.m., 4800 block of FM 1888 – A grass fire was reported near a residence and was spreading quickly. Sisterdale FD responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.

6:28 p.m., 200 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a neighbor was shooting in the direction of the caller’s residence. Law enforcement contacted the neighbor who denied shooting in the direction of the caller.

AUGUST 27

9:11 a.m., 20 block of Worth Drive – A security company called in to report a dark vehicle driving on the construction site, despite the fact that no one should have been there. Law enforcement went to the location and did not find any criminal activity.

7:23 p.m., 100 block of Upper Cibolo Creek Road – A caller was concerned about hearing gunshots coming from the direction of Boerne Lake. Law enforcement checked out the lake and found everything to be OK.

7:32 p.m., ON Mariposa Parkway – A caller from out of the area reported being harassed by an individual who resided in Boerne. He requested assistance with how to handle the situation.

AUGUST 28

5:55 p.m., 900 block of E. Hwy. 46 – A caller reported a minivan was blocking the gas pumps. The caller said the last time this occurred, the individual was sleeping in the vehicle and the caller was told to call back.

7:16 a.m., 200 block of Maxwell Drive – A caller reported her vehicle had been broken into during the night.

9:19 a.m., 200 block of FM 1621 – A property owner reported that during a law enforcement pursuit the prior week, a large truck had come through her fence. The caller explained she only noticed the damage the prior day.

9:46 a.m., 600 block of FM 474 – Five or six white sheep were reported to be gallivanting about on a Monday morning adventure.

12:02 p.m., on Staudt St. – A caller said when he left Comfort, his dog was in the back of his truck and the dog was no longer there.

1:07 p.m., 100 block of Joshua Ranch Drive -- A caller reported a pickup had used law enforcement codes to enter the property. The caller caught the incident on video and had changed the code.

4:42 p.m., 500 block of E Hwy. 46 – A caller reported his former employee was threatening to destroy the building. There was an issue between the two, possibly involving stealing from the business.

AUGUST 29

12:45 a.m., 53000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported two vehicles were stuck in the river. One vehicle was partially submerged, the other was stuck on the rocks. To no one’s surprise, they both required wreckers.

8:05 a.m., 100 block of Walnut Grove Road – A caller reported that he has paid an individual to do work on his vehicle. The individual had the vehicle for over a year; however, he failed to do the work or return the money. The caller told dispatch he was going to get additional victims to call in.

11:53 a.m., on Escena Court – A caller reported a fraudulent check had been written on her account. She said she would bring documentation into the office later.

1:31 p.m., on Blaschke Road – A caller reported a scam caller who was possibly using Boerne PD phone numbers. The caller had been told he had a federal warrant out for his arrest for missing jury duty and he needed to send money. The caller wanted assurance that there were no warrants.

3:20 p.m., 100 block of Cool Rock – A caller reported a male who she had seen park on different areas of the street, sometimes in front of the caller’s house. Possibly inspired by the new Barbie movie, the male had been taking off his shirt and playing the guitar. It was discovered he was working on a house on the street.
