For over 100 years the Kendall County Fair Association, as a nonprofit organization, has maintained its agricultural mission for Kendall County and the greater Texas Hill Country.
At the gate to the beautiful Texas Hill Country, a vibrant rural community where agricultural industries are encouraged, agricultural education is promoted and where agriculture, horticulture and livestock management are flourishing, the Kendall County Fair Association works hard to maintain the agricultural traditions, enhance agricultural education and encourage rural development both now and into the future.
The Fair likes to boast of having the best vendors in Texas. The vendors offer a vast array of food, jewelry, handcrafted items and so much more. Come and check them out.
The Queen’s Pageant is on Thursday night, the Rodeo goes on Friday and Saturday, and bull riding extreme takes the arena on Sunday. Livestock shows are Saturday and Sunday, and the great exhibits in the Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall are open the entire weekend for all to see.
Exhibitors put their heart and soul into their exhibits and are anxious for all fairgoers to stroll through and see what they’ve accomplished.
Entertainment keeps the main stage hopping all weekend, along with lots of retail vendors for shopping and a variety of food vendors to meet everyone’s taste.
And no Kendall County Fair would be complete without Saturday’s Fair Parade, commencing at 10 a.m. on Main Street.
