As was done last year, artists’ booths will be scattered among the craft breweries at the sixth annual Boerne Bierfest, giving attendees the opportunity to view original artworks while sampling Texas’ finest craft beers.

BierFest organizers announced Gary P. Nunn, country music singer/songwriter from Brownfield, Texas, will headline at Bier-Fest. Many will recognize “London Homesick Blues,” which served for 27 years as the Austin City Limits theme song -- written and recorded by Nunn. He is considered the father of the progressive country/“cosmic cowboy” movement, and at 77, is the indisputable revered elder statesman to many of the Texas red dirt singer songwriters.
