General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. JULY 26
11:09 a.m., Scenic Loop/I-10 westbound frontage road, a caller reported a bucket truck fell on a vehicle. All occupants were able to exit the vehicle. A second caller reported that a male had fallen out of the bucket truck. An ambulance was called for the male.
12:32 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St., an employee reported a woman with two kids panhandling on the sidewalk.
2:34 p.m., 34000 block of W. I-10, a caller reported a vehicle had been broken into sometime earlier that afternoon.
4:37 p.m., 300 block of N. Main St., a caller reported three teenagers were driving around shooting water balls. Law enforcement was unable to locate the vehicle.
9:08 p.m., 200 block of Old San Antonio, a caller reported a group of teens who had damaged one of the screens at the movie theater.
JULY 27
7:09 a.m., 100 block of S. Saunders, a caller reported a young, friendly puppy who was walking around the parking lot alone. The caller waited with the puppy until it received a ride to the animal shelter.
10:02 a.m., 1500 block of S. Main St., a caller reported that someone had stolen one of his tools. The caller was able to provide dispatch with a description of the suspect and their license plate. Law enforcement pursued the vehicle.
12:36 p.m., 100 block of City Lake Road, a caller reported a head-on collision on the top of the dam. Boerne FD and EMS were contacted. An ambulance was called to the scene.
12:45 p.m., 400 block of N. Main St., a business reported that one of the checks at their bank had been intercepted and altered.
2:16 p.m., mile marker 540, W. I-10, a two-vehicle accident occurred. Airbags were deployed in one of the vehicles. A caller reported one of the occupants was clutching his chest. EMS was contacted. One of the drivers had sustained an injury to his hand. Two wreckers were required.
5:56 p.m., 1400 block of S. Main St., a manager reported someone had used a fake card for an order worth more than $400. The manager then said the individual had gone to a neighboring store and attempted to charge more than $2000 on the same card.
JULY 28
8:21 a.m., Katie Court/Sophia Circle, a concerned caller reported a trailer with a water container was hooked up to a fire hydrant.
9:01 a.m., 100 block of Edinburgh, a resident wanted to report an individual trespassing through his backyard during the night. The caller said he had video footage of the incident.
11:29 a.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road, a two-vehicle accident occurred in the turn lane of an intersection. The accident was blocking a lane of traffic. The caller, who was involved in the accident, reported that her wrists hurt and was requesting EMS.
11:43 a.m., 100 block of Mustang Run, A caller reported their vehicle had been vandalized during the night.
3:52 p.m., 100 block of City Park, a caller reported that a box of pornography had been left near the soccer fields. The caller explained their concern about the proximity of the box toward a children’s area. The material was disposed of.
4:03 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St., a manager called in to request assistance with an internal theft matter.
8:46 p.m., 800 block of River, Road, a caller reported two males fighting outside the building. The caller said the one male was on top of the other male, repeatedly punching him. The caller said one of the males appeared to be unresponsive. Emergency services arrived at the scene. One of the males was detained. The other make was found unconscious but breathing and was given medical attention.
JULY 29
7:13 a.m., Greyhound Lane, a suspicious caller reported a vehicle had been parked in the same location for over a week. It was found that the vehicle belonged to a member of school staff and was parked legally.
7:39 a.m., 200 block of Deer Creek, a caller reported two men in an older vehicle were circling the neighborhood.
10:04 a.m., 200 block of Deer Creek, a caller reported their garage door was open, despite knowing they had closed it the prior night.The caller said the bottom panel of the garage door was dented and had possibly been pried open. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
11:38 a.m., 33000 block of E I-10, a manager reported a group of females had ordered $60 worth of food and then left without paying. Their getaway vehicle stalled as they were leaving, and a staff member was able to get pictures and video of the group.
1:18 p.m., 100 block of E. Frederick St., a caller reported a vehicle had been parked on the caller’s property for an unknown amount of time.
5:31 p.m., mile marker 543 E. I-10, a one-vehicle accident occurred. The vehicle flipped and was in the interstate median. Interstate traffic stopped to assist the occupant. The occupant was able to exit the vehicle and medical services were provided. A wrecker was called.
5:53 p.m., mile marker 543, E I-10, A caller reported a driver who had a beer in her hand and one in the cup holder. The vehicle was pulled over and four individuals were detained.
JULY 30
6:19 a.m., 1500 block of S. Main St., a probable cause search was conducted during a traffic stop. The individual had warrants out for his arrest and was detained.
9:49 a.m., 400 block of Bandera Road, a two-vehicle accident occurred. A vehicle hit a pole and another vehicle, resulting in both lanes of traffic temporarily being closed. A wrecker was called for one of the vehicles.
6:53 p.m., Destiny Drive, a caller reported a man grab his wife by the waist, resulting in her falling on the ground. The caller informed dispatch the wife had prior back issues. The husband and wife came into the police department lobby, where the male was detained.
JULY 31
8:41 a.m., 100 block of Horse Hill, a caller wanted to report harassment from one of his neighbors. The neighbor was allegedly saying crude things to the caller’s girlfriend and tampering with their property.
9:41 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main St., a mother called in to report her daughter had gone to the gym the prior evening and when she exited, there was a piece of cheese on her windshield. The caller was concerned that this was a method of kidnapping people.
10:54 a.m., 100 block of City Lake Road, a caller reported that her garage opener, designer purse and card holder had been stolen from her vehicle the prior day.
12:14 p.m., 33000 block of W. I-10, a caller reported that someone had stolen her Yeti cooler. The caller was out of town but had doorbell video footage of the incident.
7:25 p.m., 1000 block of Diamond Drive, a caller reported a scam call he had received from an individual claiming to be a DEA agent. The caller knew it was a scam and had not provided any personal information.
AUGUST 1
5:51 a.m., Greyhound Lane, a caller reported a male laying down in the parking lot in his underwear -- interesting attire for a sports game. The caller told dispatch that the male was rambling and did not seem to be in the correct frame of mind.
6:34 a.m., 200 block of Hunters Creek, a caller reported a “small red cone ... with the number 13 on it” that was placed on their street. The caller explained his nephew had seen someone driving around, placing the cones.
4:22 p.m., 37000 Block of E. I-10, a driver reported another vehicle had scraped his vehicle, but the driver did not stop. The caller said there may not have been any damage done to the other vehicle.
5:42 p.m., 200 block of Latigo Lane, a caller reported she had received an email from a Russian assassin.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE JULY 26
2:03 a.m., 100 block of E. View Point Drive, a caller reported a couple of vehicles parked on the road in front of the caller’s house they found to be suspicious. As the caller was speaking with dispatch, one of the vehicles drove off and three individuals were walking around with flashlights. It turned out the individuals were transporting a purchased vehicle.
9:10 a.m., 100 block of Phillip Ranch Road, an HOA member called in to report some rowdy cattle that had decided to become free-range animals.
10:16 a.m., Green Cedar Road, a woman called in to report someone in California had stolen her identity and had already made purchases with two credit cards.
3:36 p.m., 100 block of Crabapple Road, a probable cause search was conducted after a routine traffic stop. The search resulted in a male being detained but then released with a warning.
8:34 p.m., 100 block of April Lane, a woman reported that her neighbor physically attacked the caller’s father by attempting to run over him with a vehicle. Dispatch noted all they could hear was screaming over the phone. Law enforcement was able to locate the neighbor’s vehicle after the neighbor had left the location. Law enforcement took the neighbor into custody.
JULY 27
7:20 a.m., 100 block of River Mountain Drive, a caller reported that a raccoon had made an unexpected early morning visit to her back porch.
9:30 a.m., 800 block of FM 474, a one-vehicle accident occurred. The caller struck a trash can, resulting in the vehicle ending up on its side. There were two babies in the vehicle who did not sustain any injuries. However, the caller reported she injured her hip. The vehicle was removed off the road.
11:21 p.m., 200 block of Wollschlaeger Drive, a father reported that his son had poured gasoline on the insulation and electrical devices in the attic. The son was detained. Boerne FD was called to the scene for assistance.
JULY 28
1:48 a.m., Kasten Road, a caller reported that his parents had gotten into a physical argument, resulting in one of them being shot. The caller told dispatch he witnessed his mother get shot. Emergency services had difficulty making further contact with the caller. The caller later made contact and said, “You just got swatted,” indicating the incident was false.
10:27 a.m., mile marker 522 E. I-10, a rollover accident involving an 18-wheeler occurred. Comfort FD and EMS were contacted. The driver suffered head trauma but was conscious. I-10 was temporarily shut down as the accident debris was handled.
12:06 p.m., 49000 block of W. I-10, a driver felt justified in crossing the interstate median because he had an urgent bathroom matter.
7:58 p.m., mile marker 533 E. I-10, a concerned caller reported a large group of people in the back of a van. The caller was concerned the people were immigrants.
11:53 p.m., a caller reported a horse running loose on a fun Friday night adventure.
JULY 29
12:12 a.m., 38000 block of W I-10, a caller reported that an individual was trespassing. The individual had been evicted for littering, loitering, and starting fires on the property.
9:11 a.m., 1000 block of Silver Hills Drive, a caller requested assistance with a trapped armadillo.
9:44 a.m., 500 block of E. Hwy. 46, a caller reported a contractor who she had paid $5,100 left without providing the services promised. When the caller attempted to get her money back, the check bounced.
5:51 p.m., 300 block of E. Hwy. 46, a hit-and-run accident occurred. A moped hit a vehicle and then left the location. A male, who the caller suspected of being drunk, began walking toward Bergheim. A second caller reported the male was wandering into oncoming traffic. Because of the proximity to the county line, Comal County law enforcement was notified.
6:09 p.m., FM 1376/Upper Sisterdale, a black goat decided to make an escape for some Saturday night excitement.
6:23 p.m., 2800 block of FM 473, a caller reported someone had stolen his temporary license plate tags and was using them in Harris County on toll roads.
JULY 30
10:44 a.m., 100 block of La Cima, a caller reported that he has applied for a fraudulent job posting. In the application process, the caller provided personal information including his driver’s license number and Social Security number. The caller later found out the posting was fraudulent and was concerned.
7:00 p.m., mile marker 545 W. I-10, a caller reported a grass fire between the access road and the interstate lanes. Boerne FD was contacted. Additional callers reported the fire, one of them telling dispatch the road visibility was being affected. Boerne FD extinguished the fire.
7:41 p.m., mile marker 545 W. I-10, a caller reported five sports cars speeding on the interstate, quickly approaching Kendall County. The caller reported that once the vehicles saw law enforcement vehicle lights, they all slowed down.
9:15 p.m., 100 block of Mariposa Parkway, a caller reported a vehicle with teenagers inside had gone past the gate of a property. The caller told dispatch they were unaware of any residence that direction and suspected the teens were going to drink. Law enforcement was unable to locate the vehicle.
JULY 31
2:13 a.m., 200 block of Crabapple Road, a vehicle security service called in to report the location of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been stolen from San Marcos but was reported as being in Kendall County. Law enforcement checked the location and were unable to locate the vehicle. Later, the service called back to report the vehicle was pinging at a nearby location.
8:00 a.m., 100 block of Brandenburg Court, a caller reported receiving harassing phone calls from his tenant’s girlfriend’s niece. The caller said the niece was consistently calling him and leaving voicemails.
8:51 a.m., 100 block of Juniper Lane, a caller reported issues with her business bank account with Amazon. The caller reported fraudulent charges had been made on the account and she had noticed the prior day.
1:25 p.m., 200 block of Indian Springs, a caller reported that someone had gotten into her Amazon bank account and opened credit cards in her name.
2:16 p.m., 300 block of Wild Turkey Blvd., a caller reported a contractor was demanding $27,000 from her for work he had done. The caller was disputing the work he had done and was concerned because the contractor had yelled at her.
4:18 p.m., 100 block of Sabine Road, a caller reported that, for the second time in a month, her mail had been stolen. The caller said she knew it had been stolen because a package had been stolen earlier in the day.
11:24 pm., 200 block of Clubs Drive, the same vehicle security service from earlier reported the same vehicle has pinged at a new location. The residents of the property were contacted but had not seen the vehicle at the location.
AUGUST 1
8:34 a.m., 400 block of Comfort Place, a caller reported that an individual had broken into her apartment. The caller suspected it may have been the maintenance person; however, the deadbolt on the front door had been broken.
9:47 a.m., 200 block of E. Headwaters Road, a caller reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be a customs agent. The alleged agent had told the caller there was a warrant out for her arrest because of a package.
11:58 a.m., 31000 block of E. I-10, an employee reported a customer refusing to pay a $7,000 bill. The customer had brought in a company truck, despite being fired two months prior, and had attempted to put the bill on the company.
1:41 p.m., 100 block of FM 1621, a suspicious caller reported two males walking away from downtown. The caller later reported that the males were on the caller’s construction equipment. As the caller was speaking with dispatch, the males left the location. Law enforcement could not locate them.
3:02 p.m., mile marker 533 E. I-10, a vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop before quickly driving away. Dispatch noted it appeared the occupants switched drivers as they were driving away. The vehicle began driving on the interstate and then got involved in an accident. Three males exited the vehicle. One jumped off the bridge, one was in the center median of the interstate and the other was on the interstate. Law enforcement brought them all into custody.
