Moondance tonight at The Cibolo

AT THE TRAIL

AT THE TRAIL

We’re midway through July and midway through our Moondance lineup. This year’s concert series has been a blast so far, thanks to the community support, incredible talent, and a few new additions.

Thanks to long-time sponsors and friends like Frost Bank and Linda and Bob Manning with the Brandon Fund, Moondance has been around for quite a while. Keeping this tradition alive, fresh, and cool every summer is something we take seriously.

Families are such a big part of what we do here at the Cibolo. We wanted to make sure the whole family could enjoy the night out, even the kiddos who may not want to sit still for an entire live music concert. As a group of folks who appreciate playing outside, we stocked our new play area with games, swings, and a slack rope. The area is surrounded by picnic tables so parents can keep an eye on their little ones, relax with their drinks and food, and still be a part of the audience. This entire area is enclosed in the oak motte by the tree line and fence, and it is well-lit. Remember, children 10 and under are free every Moondance.

While you’re here check out our new Cibolo merchandise. We have new Moondance shirts in two different colors, styles, and fabrics; one Comfort Colors shirt and one Bella Canvas shirt. Pick a style and feel that fits you best or get both. Proceeds from merchandise sales go right back into the Cibolo and fund our conservation centered mission.

Another exciting addition this summer comes from local business owner Lillian Oler with Assemble Cocktail Workshop. Lillian has been a friend and supporter of the Cibolo, especially with her daughter at the Nest Nature Preschool.

She has generously donated her time and her talents creating unique cocktails for The Cibolo. These cocktails are served in new Cibolo branded aluminum, reusable cups. These cups keep your drink chilled and look great. Lillian has asked that all proceeds from the cocktail sales be given to the Cibolo. We are so grateful to have her with us again tonight at Moondance.

Tonight, we’ll have Aaron Tilt, a San Antonio born singer and songwriter, on our stage under the oaks. We’re also welcoming back Conchita’s Tex-Mex food truck from Kerrville and Blythe Creamery from here in Boerne.

Moondance has been a celebration of our friends and community and as Central Texas continues to grow, we want to still promote and encourage small businesses and local talent. We hope to see you tonight and at the next couple Moondances.

Tickets are available at www.Cibolo.org/ moondance.
