The Boerne Fire Department hosts the annual “Stuff the Fire Truck” school supply donation drive this weekend to benefit Boerne Independent School District students.
Firefighters will be at the H-E-B in Boerne, 420 W. Bandera, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and again July 22 and 23 to collect school supply donations.
Needed items include paper, pens and No. 2 pencils, colored pencils, erasers, dry erase markers, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, crayons, highlighters, construction paper, spiral notebooks, index cards, copy paper, colored markers, pocket folders, sandwich/gallon bags, tissue boxes, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, and more.
The Fire Department thanks the public for its yearly support to help prepare students and stock classrooms for the start of school in August.
