The Boerne High girls soccer team defeated 6A Judson on Tuesday and also picked up two wins against one loss at the Southwest ISD Showcase last weekend.
BHS is 7-1 overall and entered in the Georgetown Tournament this weekend for its third and final regular- season tourney of the year.
Speaking of 7-1, that’s also the score they defeated Judson by on Tuesday, 7-1.
Hannah Bowen and Madeline Davis both recorded 2 goals against the Rockets, while Avery Ukeiley, Kylie Combs and Sophie Harper all finished with 1 goal.
Combs tallied 4 assists in the match, while Harper, Ukeiley and Lily Griffith all came up with one assist in Southwest ISD Showcase the contest.
BHS went 2-1 and suffered its first loss of the season at the Southwest tourney.
Boerne opened with a 19-0 victory over McCollum.
The Lady Greyhounds suffered their first loss of the year against 6A O’Connor, 4-1.
Later, BHS took on Laredo Alexander and won, 5-1.
Boys
The Boerne boys were at New Braunfels and defeated the Unicorns before heading off to play in the Hidalgo tournament down in the valley this weekend.
