The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
August 1
4:08 a.m., 1300 block River Rd.- A man heard a woman yelling behind the Sinus Center from a block away.
9:06 a.m., 31205 I-10 W.- A man said he surrendered his vehicle to Toyota of Boerne. Now, he said the dealership couldn’t find the vehicle and wasn’t calling him back. A financial staffer at the businesses told him to file a theft report.
10:59 a.m., 35000 I-10 W.- An individual reported an assault that occurred in 2019.
11:26 a.m., 400 block W. Bandera Rd.- A woman reported vehicles speed down Bandera Road on the stretch between Main Street and the interstate.
11:40 p.m., 916 River Rd.- A man discovered a bullet hole in a business window.
7:35 p.m., 1369 S. Main St.- A woman tracked her phone that went missing and saw it was moving down Main Street. She managed to find the person who had it, and they gave it back to her.
8:33 p.m., 435 W. Bandera Rd.- A man and woman were arrested and taken for a blood draw after they bought a gas can at the service station, and the employee reported to officers they were stumbling and had slurred speech.
August 2
6:13 a.m., 543 MM I-10 W.- An 18-wheeler caught fire which led to a small grass fire. The incident was under control less than 20 minutes later.
7:46 a.m., 600 block N. Main St.- A woman was heard yelling and seen talking to bricks.
10:28 p.m., 700 block Oak Park Dr.- A man reported his motorcycle was stolen sometime in the previous two weeks.
3:31 p.m., Main Street and Rosewood Avenue- A woman was hit by a vehicle on Main Street. She was conscious and breathing after someone helped her move off the road.
4:39 p.m., 100 block Newton Alley- An individual was suspicious of man who had been hanging out in the area all day, noting he didn’t seem dangerous but “something seemed off.”
10:15 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A refrigerator was stolen off a man’s trailer.
August 4
4:59 a.m., 35065 I-10 W.- A man was sleeping on the patio at Starbucks, and an employee wanted him to leave.
8:07 a.m., 125 Crosspoint- A mother reported her son’s gas-powered minibike was stolen overnight, and the thief cut a chain lock on the bike to take it.
10:55 a.m., 1000 Diamond- A mother called 911 when her daughter called her just screaming. The mother said there had been a domestic history with her daughter and her boyfriend.
3:27 p.m., 200 block Fischer- A mother discretely called 911 on her drunk 50-year-old son. She thought he may have been hallucinating, so EMS services were requested.
6:35 p.m., 100 City Lake- A woman claimed her daughter was assaulted by her stepmother the day before at the city lake.
7:38 p.m., 825 Johns Rd.- A man suspected a house key was laced with a drug because his heartrate spiked when he picked it up.
77:19 p.m., 100 block Noble Woods- About six teenagers were going around the block kicking doors.
August 5
1:04 a.m., Christus Parkway and I-10 W.- A man was arrested after someone reported his vehicle causing a traffic hazard while parked on the access road.
4:45 a.m., 1300 S. Main St.- A man was spotted laying behind the bank charging his phone in an outdoor wall outlet.
7:34 a.m., 300 S. Plant- A 2000 Chevy Silverado was reported stolen from the area.
2:44 p.m., 500 block Ogrady- A woman reported someone was knocking on her door at 3 a.m., and her boyfriend discovered in the morning someone threw a rock through her front bedroom window.
5:01 p.m., 100 block Krieg- A man reported his truck was broken into within the past 12 hours, saying he went outside to find the handle broken and the door open. He wasn’t sure if anything was taken.
6:34 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A mother tracked her son’s phone to Canes Chicken. She said her son’s phone and shoes were stolen from Boerne High.
August 6
1:12 a.m., 125 Crosspoint- A woman called deputies to report her friend for threatening to kill her. Deputies checked on her and found she was very drunk.
1:20 a.m., 100 block Dusty Coral- Two teenagers were smoking weed and walking up a woman’s driveway. When she asked what they were doing, they said they were smoking weed. They were parked across the street from her house.
7:03 a.m., 524 Adler Rd.- The skate park was vandalized.
9:38 a.m., 600 block W. Bandera Rd.- The driver of a black Chevy Silverado was seen looking in other vehicles and trying to open doors.
10:22 a.m., 600 block E. Theissen- A man wanted to speak to a supervisor because he said his spine was injured during an interaction with officers earlier in the month.
1:05 p.m., 100 block Main St.- A woman called to complain about 18-wheelers driving on Main Street, which is a TxDOT highway.
3:10 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman was seen laying on the ground and throwing a bag around.
3:59 p.m., 600 block Oak Park Dr.- A resident was concerned about two women trying to get into a car using a coat hanger. It was their vehicle that they were locked out of.
5:12 p.m., 33000 I-10 W.- A man saw a woman dump her backpack in a dumpster and leave, which he found suspicious. Then, about six minutes later after going in and out of the woods, he watched her climb into the dumpster.
11:38 p.m., 134 Menger Springs- A patient at the Methodist emergency room reported they were sexually assaulted.
August 7
12:50 a.m., 1693 River Rd.- Two teenage girls ran off with cases of beer or hard seltzer.
8:24 a.m., Adler and Esser roads- A bong was left at a yield sign.
11:28 a.m., 170 S. Main St.- A woman claimed her daughter was assaulted by a server at Cypress Grill.
4:16 p.m., 100 block Ouray- A father said someone attempted to cut his daughter’s tires overnight but failed. However, he said they managed to cut themselves in the attempt, leaving blood on his driveway.
6:52 p.m., 200 block Sandy Shoal- A man bought a vehicle off Facebook Marketplace, but it was coming back registered as stolen. Officers informed him it had been recovered since it was stolen, and he had not bought a stolen vehicle. However, he needed to contact San Antonio officers to have unmarked.
11:25 p.m., Johns Road and I-10 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
August 8
12:53 a.m., 200 block Village- A woman was concerned about a vehicle parked in front of her neighbor’s home for five minutes while in the driver’s seat. It was a teenager staying with a friend. The young teenager was on the phone and went to their car to avoid disturbing the people he or she was staying with.
5:07 a.m., 300 block Aberdeen- A resident saw two men he believed were stealing appliances from the area.
6:58 a.m., 600 block E. Theissen- A man was sick of his neighbor’s cat getting on his car.
7:37 a.m., 1010 River Rd.- A man reported his vehicle was stolen the day before.
11:42 a.m., Main and Hickman streets- A man was screaming and flipping people off.
1:24 p.m., 100 block Cibolo Creek- A woman wanted her ex-mother-in-law to stop coming to her home.
2:19 p.m., 500 block E. Theissen- A woman’s estranged husband was withdrawing money from her bank account.
9:02 p.m., 200 block Ivy- A woman reported a man was drunk and getting behind the wheel.
August 9
12:07 a.m., 100 block Enterprise- An employee with an alarm company wasn’t sure if someone stole a vehicle because it was showing up in a grassy area where nobody was supposed to be parked.
12:08 a.m., 1351 S. Main St.- A woman was arrested after circling a man’s bus in her red sports car several times and peeing in some bushes.
12:38 a.m., 37101 I-10 E.- An individual was arrested after someone reported a suspicious person in the area.
2:25 p.m., 121 Old San Antonio Rd.- A 13-year-old boy was taken into custody after he threatened to shoot up a school in the area.
5:55 p.m., 200 block Deer Creek- A man being evicted accused the landlord of going through his belongings while he was in the process of moving out. He also said the landlord threatened to send someone over with a gun and kill them.
7:31 p.m., 100 block Massey Woods- A woman gave a man her address to pick up free items she posted online, but he then began making “nasty inappropriate” comments toward her.
8:45 p.m., 50 block FM 474- Officers arrested a driver after the driver failed a field sobriety test. Officers then transported the driver to the hospital for a blood draw.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
August 1
6:43 a.m., Hwy 87 and I-10- A man was throwing items at cars as they went under the overpass.
8:19 a.m., Staudt Street- A mother said the family of a runaway were harassing her daughter and threatening her because the daughter gave the runaway a ride to an apartment complex.
11:54 a.m., 580 Sunflower- A woman requested a homeless man be removed from the property and issued a trespass warning.
1:17 p.m., 2400 block FM 1376- Gillespie County deputies asked local deputies to keep an eye out for a subject who robbed a Walmart. Llano County deputies located the man and reported shots fired as they tried to apprehend him.
2:57 p.m., 200 block Friendship Dr.- A woman pulled a 3-year-old girl out of water, where she said the child may have been for a few minutes. The young girl was breathing but wouldn’t wake up.
August 2
12:26 a.m., 300 block Los Indios Ranch Rd.- A woman had been living on the property for a month without permission. However, after some questioning, the property owner said the woman had permission to stay there for three weeks, but they now wanted her gone. A deputy explained the woman had now established residency, so the property owner needed to file eviction paperwork.
7:50 a.m., 200 block Hwy 27- An injured owl found its way into a woman’s front guest house.
8:32 a.m., 10 block FM 1621- A woman was upset the person who owned the property her trailer was on disconnected her electricity, demanding payment, because she said it wasn’t due for another couple of weeks. She was directed to a justice of the peace’s office.
1:09 p.m., 100 block Milagro- A man going through a divorce was concerned when he found an Apple AirTag on his father’s car that neither he nor his father placed on the vehicle.
2:23 p.m., Kendalia- A sexual assault was reported.
9:13 p.m., 100 block August Lane- A woman was frightened by a shirtless man in shorts or boxers in her driveway starting at her and her daughter. When she asked the man what he needed, he licked his lips and groaned. She shut her door, and he walked away. However, she said he’d been exhibiting strange behavior frequently.
August 3
1:47 a.m., 100 block August Lane- A woman and her daughter barricaded themselves in a bedroom after they heard what sounded like a man breaking into their home. The subject was nowhere to be found when deputies arrived almost 30 minutes later, but the woman opted to stay at her parents for the night.
7:20 a.m., FM 1621- Child protective services filed a case for child neglect.
8:53 a.m., 39300 block I-10 W.- A driver reported a woman that was part of a cleanup crew, wearing a reflective vest, was jumping into traffic to ask drivers for a cigarette.
12:13 p.m., 525 MM I-10 W.- A man in an F-150 pulled a gun out on a fellow driver.
3:23 p.m., 4 Staudt St.- Deputies successfully served an arrest warrant and took the woman into custody.
8:17 p.m., 300 block Hwy 46- Some kind of fight broke out between a group of teenagers, causing several individuals to be injured.
August 4
6:19 a.m., Front and Fifth streets- A driver hit a cyclist. The bike ended up partially under the vehicle, but the cyclist was not pinned. It’s unclear what injuries were sustained if any.
6:46 a.m., 500 block Deep Hollow Dr.- A man reported his Honda Ridgeline was burglarized overnight, and his wallet and pistol were stolen.
7:15 a.m., 900 block Hwy 46 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
10:16 a.m., 600 block E. Theissen St.- A man was arrested after he went to his neighbor’s house and threatened him with a gun.
2:13 p.m., 8 Staudt St.- An inmate reported he or she was assaulted by a fellow inmate.
8:32 p.m., 6800 block Hwy 27- Deputies detained three women for Kerr County deputies investigating a burglary.
10:50 p.m., 1 Doeskin Dr.- A resident reported a group of teenagers for having a party. Deputies told the partygoers to turn the music down.
August 5
8:39 a.m., 1206 Fifth St.- A man reported a woman for sleeping in her vehicle in the employee parking lot.
11:45 a.m., 100 block S. Stonegate- A man who appeared to be in his 20s was seen jumping a fence to a nearby residence by a babysitter.
3:42 p.m., 537 MM I-10 E.- A man saw a group of guys running out of the woods before hopping in a silver SUV.
5:50 p.m., 4 Staudt St.- A man on probation tested positive for drugs during a routine screening, and staff asked deputies to search his vehicle for marijuana.
August 6
1:36 a.m., 100 block Aransas Pass- A woman was arrested after a resident reported hearing two gunshots followed by screaming.
4:17 a.m., 43 Hwy 87 N.- A man was bugging employees at the Love’s Travel Stop. Employees didn’t want a criminal trespass warning issued but just wanted the man to leave. He agreed to the terms.
10:32 a.m., 580 Sunflower- A woman was concerned two young girls were being trafficked because they were sitting near the apartment mailboxes and using the business’s Wi-Fi.
1:08 p.m., 350500 block I-10 E.- Little Bo-Peep lost her sheep on a TxDOT highway.
1:14 p.m., 8 Staudt St.- A family showed up in at the sheriff’s office with questions about their 15-year-old child’s driving permit.
1:29 p.m., 100 block Milagro- A man entered the jail lobby and said he was being stalked.
3:27 p.m., 522 MM I-10 E.- Kerr County deputies asked local law enforcement to stop a woman who took a phone, keys and a wallet belonging to a dead person. If she handed over all three items to Kendall County deputies, she could be released.
7:09 p.m., Hwy 87 N.- A freight liner left Love’s Travel Stop without paying for fuel, leaving the store on the hook for $84.26.
August 7
12:14 a.m., 500 block Linder Ave.- A woman reported a man drove off on her Harley Davidson after doing cocaine.
1:41 a.m., 700 block Hwy 46 E.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop after a field sobriety test was conducted.
1:36 p.m., 200 block FM 1376- A cement pillar fell over on a man’s property, and he was suspicious as to what or possibly who caused it.
4:01 p.m., 100 block N. Oak Bluff- A woman was held hostage in her home by a snake on her front porch.
6:27 p.m., 31000 block I-10 W.- A man bought a vehicle two years prior but never received the title. He just found out it was reported stolen and wanted to turn it over to officers.
9:30 p.m., 500 block Linder Ave.- A man reported his ex-wife was stealing things out of his vehicle.
August 8
6:01 a.m., 537 MM I-10 W.- An individual was arrested after he lost control of his vehicle and hit a fence at Tanks a Lot.
6:34 a.m., 400 lock N. Main St.- A man walking near the library appeared to be drunk.
7:36 a.m., Red Oak and Windview drives- A man reported seeing a cougar in the area.
11:42 a.m., 100 block Woodland Ranch Rd.- A man watched from a live security feed three men break into a secure area of his home that was being remodeled. He suspected it was the electricians working on the home, and he was concerned his wife would confront them when she got there.
2:47 p.m., 100 block Bent Tree- A man was upset about a motorcycle rider who regularly revved the engine and sped through the neighborhood. A deputy advised him to speak with the homeowner’s association.
6:42 p.m., 105 Shooting Club Rd.- A man wanted his guest to leave after he or she said something rude about him and his son. In the end, he allowed the guest to stay so long as the guest didn’t act up again.
11:38 p.m., Herff and Old San Antonio roads- A driver was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop.
August 9
9:02 a.m., 534 MM I-10 W.- The driver of a black Mercedes took their time pulling over for a traffic stop.
9:07 a.m., 100 block Cypress Lane- Five or six cows congregated in a woman’s backyard, and she wanted them to find a new meeting place.
1:25 p.m., 100 block Hwy 46 W.- A man lent his truck to a friend who then wrecked it the day before. He wanted to know where his truck was being kept.
10:13 p.m., Comanche Trail- A man was concerned about his neighbor with mental illness issues because she hadn’t been home all day.
10:55 p.m., 538 MM I-10 E.- Spikes were thrown to stop a vehicle with handicap plates that was seen swerving on the interstate, but the spikes were unsuccessful. Eventually deputies caught up with the driver, and the vehicle was towed, but it’s unclear what caused the erratic driving.
