LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. May 1
10:02 a.m., 633 W. Bandera Rd.- A man was concerned a woman was drunk while driving because she was blocking the roadway before she pulled into the Whataburger drive through. His suspicions were furthered when he asked her if she was OK because she just held up a cigarette and asked for a light. She was arrested.
4:36 p.m., 145 Old San Antonio Rd.- A motorcycle was spotted doing donuts in the parking lot.
5:23 p.m., 150 Medical Dr.- A “not white” drunk man in the apartment complex pool spoke to a woman’s 13-year-old daughter.
8:45 p.m., 37550 I-10 W.- A woman was tired of the park lights being left on when nobody was there, adding they were left on until midnight the previous night. She said her backyard was too bright because of this. Officers directed her to the parks department.
May 2
2:20 a.m., 101 Herff Rd.- Due to the recent vehicle break-ins, residents were concerned about a lifted truck driving around the parking lot for about 30 minutes before parking next to the apartment pool.
4:06 a.m., 1 Main Plaza- Someone poured soap in the fountain again.
7:24 a.m., 100 block Cimarron Creek- A 20-year-old man was found unconscious but breathing, and a man was concerned he had overdosed.
7:45 a.m., 33000 I-10 W.- A man and woman were arguing, and someone was flinging dog feces.
12:08 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A woman’s purse was stolen out of her vehicle while she was in Walmart. Loss prevention believed they recovered the purse about an hour and a half later.
2:51 p.m., 633 W. Bandera Rd.- A store manager at Home Depot reported a man for leaving the area in his vehicle. He worked there, but he had just quit after they accused him of being drunk on the job.
7:40 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A 16-year-old girl was hit in the head with a metal ball next to the tennis courts at Boerne High School.
10:17 p.m., 134 Menger Springs- A man was forcibly removed from the Methodist Emergency Room after throwing himself on the ground and “acting like he is having seizures” after hospital staff determined he had no medical issues.
May 3
12:47 a.m., 1000 Diamond- Five guys were playing music and causing a ruckus at the pool, which closed at 10 p.m.
3:55 a.m., 32950 I-10 W.- A man came up to a driver’s window and threatened to beat them up before leaving the scene.
3:40 p.m., 451 N. Main St.- A man was concerned about threats to bring guns to an event his committee was holding at the library. This was likely in reference to democratic candidate for governor Beto O’Rourke, coming to town.
10:19 p.m., River Road and Charger Boulevard- Two women were arrested during a traffic stop, and the vehicle they were in was towed.

May 1
12:45 a.m., 200 block Skyland- A man picked up his daughter from a party where teenagers were drinking. He reported it because he didn’t feel comfortable with parents letting kids drink.
3:17 a.m., 200 block Ammann Rd.- A cow tried to find greener pastures, but it was roped and lugged back home within 20 minutes of its prison break.
6:37 a.m., 100 block Austin Dr.- A woman reported her soon-to-be-ex-husband stole her dog and had kept it for 13 days.
May 2
7:43 a.m., 200 block Hwy 46 W.- A disturbance that carried over from the night before led to a man jumping out a moving vehicle his wife was driving down the state highway. He had found out his wife was cheating on him.
12:32 p.m., 100 block Sage Oaks Trail- Someone broke into four of the neighborhood mailboxes.
2:02 p.m., 600 block Hwy 46 W.- A driver was arrested after they were driving recklessly, swerving into oncoming traffic.
3:21 p.m., 40 block Sansom Rd.- A woman wanted animal control to investigate people dumping animal carcasses on her property.
7:38 p.m., 1 Resort Way- A man was sent to timeout in his room at the Tapatio Resort after he got drunk at the bar and restaurant. He was told not to leave his room all night.
May 3
8:16 a.m., 100 block FM 289- A “goat keeper” didn’t manage to live up to the namesake prescribed to him by dispatchers, but he wrangled the few that got loose quickly.
1:59 p.m., 1012 S. Main St.- The silent robbery alarm was accidentally triggered at National Bank.
2:07 p.m., 401 Meadow Lane- A woman’s vehicle was broken into overnight at the apartment complex, and some of her property was stolen.
4:33 p.m., 529 MM I-10 E.- A woman was dozing off while driving home from Fredericksburg, causing her weave in and out of lanes.
6:25 p.m., 829 FM 289- A manager at Popo’s reported the back of the restaurant was broken into.
