LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. April 24
12:59 a.m., 600 block W. Bandera Rd.- Several teens in a red Jeep with a “big American flag” on the back were causing a ruckus in the Whataburger parking lot, “acting ignorant,” getting in and out of their vehicle, yelling and honking.
8 a.m.- Two vehicles were reported broken into around Turtle Creek and Coleto Creek.
10:05 a.m., 100 block Greenfield- A woman reported her silver Ford Explorer was stolen overnight. She was notified by her doorbell camera, but no footage was captured. Officers tracked its movements in San Antonio.
11:41 a.m., 200 block Aspen- A woman reported a blue Cadillac was stolen from the area.
3:24 p.m., 100 block Aberdeen- A man pulled over to take a phone call and the owner of a nearby home came out and began yelling to get off his property, brandishing a weapon and yelling racial slurs.
5:43 p.m., 134 Menger Springs- Emergency room staff called for officer assistance when a man came into the ER with a gunshot wound his wife inflicted. The shooting happened in Bandera County.
Several other vehicles were reported broken into or stolen around Boerne that day.
April 25
6:37 a.m., 100 block Destiny- A woman identified a vehicle that she believed was involved in a string of break-ins and stolen vehicles that week. The vehicle was identified as being stolen out of San Antonio, and the owner was called to pick it up.
10:14 a.m., 146 S. Main St.- An employee at Ella Blue reported they had footage of children playing behind the property over the weekend.
11:51 a.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A Boerne High student was found to be in possession of tobacco.
11:54 a.m., 100 block Bluebonnet Circle- An individual was arrested after a father reported his daughter and her boyfriend were fighting. The father said the boyfriend threatened to put a bullet in the father’s chest if he went to pick up his truck.
7:11 p.m., 100 block Dusty Coral- A woman was trying to track down her husband who she hadn’t heard from in two days. Officers contacted the jail, and he wasn’t showing up as arrested.
April 26
12:51 a.m., 100 block Firefly Court- A bright light was shining into a woman’s daughter’s room. When the mother checked the security cameras, she saw two subjects on bikes heading north from her home.
9:04 a.m., 100 block Cinnamon Creek- Skylight windows worth $1,200 were reported stolen from a location.
3:13 p.m., 1281 N. Main St.- A man reported two people stole copper from a recycling bin.
7:24 p.m., 100 block Vail- A woman reported her husband’s vehicle had been burglarized, and his key fob for his work truck was stolen.
9:51 p.m., 1223 S. Main St.- A tall man with a duffle bag was repeatedly ringing the doorbell to the business. He was reported there the night before. An employee said he was a homeless man that was bothering patrons.
April 27
7:02 a.m., 35100 block I-10 W.- A vehicle was reported burglarized overnight.
11:29 a.m., 170 S. Main St. Ste. 208- An electrical fire was reported at Cypress Grill.
3:58 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
4:46 p.m., 801 River Rd.- A man was arrested after an officer called for backup while following up on a report.
7:07 p.m., 100 block Dailey- An ambulance was called for an 18-year-old male who was seizing due to alcohol withdrawal.
9:42 p.m., 100 block Cherry- A mother reported her 15-year-old daughter as a runaway and asked that officers check for her near Glow Tan. The daughter texted her mother, letting her know where she was at Glow Tan 15 minutes later.
April 28
7 a.m., 1223 S. Main St.- A Walgreens employee suspected a tall man in the store was drunk because he could barely walk. A deputy assisted officers by giving the man a ride to a gas station in Kerrville.
11:32 a.m., 8500 block Triple Crown- A man could hear what sounded like a woman screaming for help, but he wasn’t sure where the sound was coming from.
12:20 p.m., 1102 River Rd.- A man reported his 1987 Jeep was stolen sometime overnight.
2:49 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- An officer is Madison County Tennessee asked for help tracking a registered gun owner who lived in Boerne.
9:28 p.m., 100 block Crosspoint- A woman wanted to speak to officers after her husband kicked her out after an argument.
April 29
7:20 a.m., 200 block Shadywood- A man asked for officers to monitor Old San Antonio and Herff roads while he transported his wife, who was in critical condition, to the emergency room. He noted he would be going slower than the speed limit.
300 Herff Ranch- A student ran away from Cibolo Creek Elementary and was running towards the Valero. A teacher was following the student, and the mother recovered her child.
11:02 a.m., 201 Charger Blvd.- A sexual assault was reported at Champion High School.
2:54 p.m., 451 N. Main St.- A woman left her phone in the library bathroom about 30 minutes before she called police. She tried calling her phone first, but a woman answered to say she wouldn’t be giving the phone back.
6:27 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A man loaded up his truck with mulch from Walmart and left without paying.
9:15 p.m., 315 Rosewood Ave.- A man tattled on three teenagers riding their skateboards on stairs at the church.
April 30
6:54 a.m., 100 block Telford- Three men were arrested after a resident spotted them loading up wood into their vehicle from a job site. Drugs were also found on one of the subjects.
2:28 p.m., 205 W. Bandera Rd.- A blond woman was yelling at people at the ATM drive through and then began trying to use it herself.
3:21 p.m., 100 block Oak Knoll- An individual driving a Jaguar was spotted trying to dump a dog in the area. Officers met with the driver, and they agreed to take the dog to animal care services.
3:24 p.m., 1415 E. Blanco Rd.- A woman just wanted her clothes back from a washing machine that refused to open. She didn’t want to damage property trying to get her garb back, and management wasn’t answering.
7:15 p.m., River Road and Main Street- A man found someone’s wallet int eh river and wanted to turn it over to an officer. He patiently waited for officers to arrive at a picnic table next to the intersection.

April 24
5:59 a.m., Blue Heron Boulevard- A woman pulled up to another woman’s home drunk and crying before spinning out her tires and running into something, taking off her front bumper. She kept asking the woman who reported her if she messed up her car and asking where her male friend was who got out of her car and ran. The driver was arrested.
7:50 a.m., 100 block Cypress Lane- A woman fenced in an animal she couldn’t identify. She said it looked like a pony but sounded like a sheep.
2:30 p.m., 400 block Flat Rock Creek- A woman reported seeing a man in just his skivvies who seemed dehydrated and was full of cactus barbs.
Seven vehicles on and around Ocotillo reported their vehicles were broken into and several items, including a cash box, gift cards and other items, were reported stolen.
April 25
9:14 a.m., 33100 block I-10 W.- A man reported a trailer was stolen from the location.
11:14 a.m., 25 FM 3351 S.- A manager reported an ex-boyfriend of an employee kept coming by the office, but she refused to give his name because he wasn’t a “violent person.”
12:19 p.m., 100 block Windview- A man was trying to apply for unemployment, but he learned someone had been fraudulently claiming his benefits.
2:45 p.m., 100 block Poehnert- A man reported someone shatter his door with a brick, resulting in about $3,000 in damage.
3:28 p.m., 319 Los Indios Ranch Rd.- A client was at the animal rescue center claiming a juvenile girl was sexually assaulted.
4:36 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A woman called in to find out about her son who was found wandering around in his underwear the day before.
April 26
9:30 a.m., 100 block Ranger Dr.- A woman reported her brother-in-law was leaving her home with her belongings. Her husband told his brother to take the items.
11 a.m., 100 block Privelege Pass- A man was upset his estranged wife hired people to clean trash off his property.
5:41 p.m., Jason Road- A man’s dog bit his neighbor.
6:10 p.m., 100 block Blue Ridge- A 70-year-old man was arrested after he got drunk and began wrecking another man’s vehicle with a bat. He was upset the man parked there, but he was told to do so.
6:32 p.m., 400 block May Lane- A man called for help with a kitten in his tub that was crying for days.
April 27
10:27 a.m., 30000 block I-10 E.- Two sheep made a run for it, making it to the Ancira dealership. They were caught before they could hitch a ride.
12:07 p.m., 2900 block FM 473- A woman reported show pigs were butchered and dumped on her property.
1:19 p.m., 100 block Flat Rock Creek Rd.- A woman’s uncle was selling off property she inherited from her father.
2:26 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- Someone sent a check to a man for a tool he was selling that was $2,000 more than he was asking for. This concerned the man, so he blocked the buyer.
11:26 p.m., 100 block Idlewilde Blvd.- A woman was tired of her neighbor shining a flashlight into her bathroom, saying it was becoming a chronic issue.
April 28
1:51 a.m., 400 block FM 1376- A wife on meth and a husband on booze were arguing.
3:23 a.m., 520 MM I-10 W.- A 15-year-old runaway was clocked driving 160 miles per hour down the interstate. His parents were called, and his father came down from Houston to get him.
7:31 a.m., 600 block Esperanza- A woman snitched on a water truck using a fire hydrant to fill up their truck.
2:26 p.m., Staudt Street- A woman turned herself in for an active warrant.
6:57 p.m., 543 MM I-10 W.- A man was arrested and sent for a blood draw to determine if he was driving while intoxicated after four other drivers reported his inability to maintain lanes, noting he hit a median on the interstate and was driving in the middle of two lanes. He resisted arrest but was successfully taken into custody.
7:09 p.m., 200 block Hwy 46 E.- A driver resisted arrested after he was reported for driving recklessly, and an officer had to point a taser at him. The driver was taken to University Hospital because he was believed to have a compound ankle fracture and was bleeding from the face.
8:57 p.m., 100 block Cherry- A 15-year-old girl tried to stab her mother with a knife or ice pick. Her grandmother said this was the first time she’d behaved like that.
April 29
5:36 p.m., 543 MM I-10 E.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop after deputies contacted Comal County.
8:43 p.m., 100 block Tiptop Lane- A woman was concerned about her neighbor’s dog being left alone because her neighbor was arrested the night before. Deputies gave her the number to the jail so she could contact him to get permission to take care of the dog.
April 30
1:03 a.m., 200 block Bluebonnet Dr.- A woman was confused and scared when a strange man began pounding on her door and yelled at her when she looked outside. He was arrested.
3:58 a.m., 522 MM I-10 E.- Deputies arrested a man wanted out of Kerrville for allegedly shooting a gun at his ex-girlfriend after starting a disturbance.
5:22 p.m., 200 block Los Indio Ranch Rd.- A man had questions about carrying his gun across state lines on his way to Los Angeles.
8:08 p.m., 100 block Sendero Ridge- A father was teaching his son how to drive when a man came up and started an argument and brandished a knife. The man left before deputies arrived, and no one was injured.
8:31 p.m., 200 block FM 1376- A man was arrested after another drive reported he was unable to maintain lanes and driving slowly down the state highway.
9:35 p.m., 328 Main St.- A shirtless man was punching people and cars at the apartment complex. The man took off running when deputies arrived, and they continued to pursue him. It’s unclear if he was apprehended.
