LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. April 18
12:35 a.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman was being discharged from the women’s shelter and asked officers for a courtesy ride to the women’s shelter in San Antonio. Boerne Police officers told her they don’t provide that kind of service, so she asked if there was park in town where she could sleep for the night.
12:04 a.m., 37550 I-10 W.- A homeless woman was resting in her silver sedan at Northup Park, and a local mother felt uncomfortable with it. She had seen the woman there before, and she had offered her son food. The mother didn’t think the woman should be allowed to “hang out” where children play.
7:08 p.m., 1430 S. Main St. #102- A Verizon Wireless customer asked for officer assistance because he felt an employee was harassing him.
8:20 p.m., 621 W. Bandera Rd.- A group of teenagers were up to their usual shenanigans, doing “burnouts” in the Whataburger parking lot. They were also “messing with” other people’s vehicles, and a manager had asked them to leave several times.
April 19
2:48 a.m., 542 MM I-10 W.- A man reported a reckless driver crashed into a median on the interstate, speculating the driver may have been intoxicated.
8:51 a.m., 140 E. Bandra Rd.- An employee at Magnus Realty Group reported a homeless person sleeping in front of the door to the business with a blanket. The person left before officers arrived.
9:38 a.m., 723 Johns Rd.- A woman was arrested after she called 911 claiming her son was being “refused an education” at Fabra Elementary. When officers arrived, they learned the 8-year-old boy had been suspended for three days, and the mother thought it wasn’t fair.
3:04 p.m., 600 block W. Bandera Rd.- A man reported a woman for panhandling with her infant in tow.
10:15 p.m., 100 block Red Bud- A woman reported her husband pushed her against a wall and threatened to strangle her. She added that he was going through chemo and was inside their home with their children.
April 20
10:59 a.m., 4 Staudt St.- Officers served a warrant and arrested the defendant.
3:33 p.m., 600 block Rosewood Ave.- A woman suspected a man opened her garage door overnight and left garage bags inside. In fact, she had a name for officers.
7:10 p.m., 1530 S. Main St.- A tractor supply employee didn’t have quite the reaction a longhorn owner was expecting when they showed her photos of their steer. The woman was concerned they were neglecting the longhorn because it appeared malnourished.
9:43 p.m., 711 River Rd.- A man was arrested after yelling and arguing with his wife and another woman despite neighbors asking him to lower his voice.
April 22
8:34 a.m., 1693 River Rd.- A woman suspected a man was taking photos of people pumping gas and said he’d been there more than 20 minutes.
10:27 a.m., Main Street and Christus Parkway- A man with a dog was yelling and jumping on the concrete island near the intersection.
12:03 p.m., 100 block City Park- A woman reported her 15-year-old son was assaulted the day before by his coach at the city pool.
2:28 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- A manager at H-E-B reported a customer was open carrying a handgun on their hip.
5:50 p.m., 451N. Main St.- An individual in the library heard a man threaten to shoot up a school in town and had a video of the man after he made the threat. Officers requested camera footage from the library to identify the man.
11:58 p.m., 35000 I-10 W.- An employee at Comfort Inn & Suites reported a couple with a child were fighting and someone reported the father had a gun.
April 23
12:55 a.m., Main Street and Rosewood Avenue- Two individuals were arrested during a traffic stop.
12:57 a.m., 1599 S. Main St.- A man called officers to let them know he parked his truck near O’Reilly Auto Parts because he’d been drinking, tossing his keys in the back possibly making it to the bed of the truck. He then began walking to his own body shop on North Wagon Wheel.
3:41 a.m., 100 block Saddle Club- A man rang another man’s doorbell looking for a woman he met online. The homeowner was concerned he was soliciting sex.
3:38 p.m., Stahl Street and Blanco Road- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
6:54 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A woman could hear three people fighting on the Boerne High School tennis courts from Deer Creek.

April 18
8:49 a.m., 100 block Waring Knoll Dr.- A woman called 911 when her husband locked her out of the house. She was sobbing and hard for dispatchers to understand.
9:46 a.m., Waterstone Parkway and Rio Brazos- A truck with a bed full of gun safes ran a stop sign.
12:48 p.m., 100 block Shirley Dr.- A man in a truck was taking trash out of people’s trash cans.
10:30 p.m., 537 MM I-10 E.- A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.
April 19
9:17 a.m., 400 block FM 1376- A woman reported her husband was “going crazy,” throwing things at her. She said they both had been drinking.
11:06 a.m., 30 block Hwy 87 N.- A woman called 911 crying, saying the father of her child “took her after she paid him money.”
8:38 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A man from Wills Point called deputies in Kendall County, suspecting his online friend in San Angelo was kidnapped because she told him people were after her.
April 20
11:34 a.m., 242 Hwy 46 W.- An employee with Rudd Masonry received an email indicating they’d been sending payments to a fraudulent account for four weeks.
1:57 p.m., 300 block N. Walnut Way- A woman reported another woman she had a criminal trespass warning against was hiding beneath her home.
2:53 p.m., 528 MM I-10 W.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
4:37 p.m., 300 block Sattler Rd.- A woman spotted a black cow in the road.
9:34 p.m., Headwaters Ranch and Blanco roads- A woman saw a shooting target she felt was dangerous because it was facing another house.
April 21
5:03 a.m., 43 Hwy 87 N.- A teenage girl went on a beer run with a five-finger discount at Love’s Travel Stop before speeding off in a truck with two teenage boys.
10:27 a.m., 200 block Mountain Creek Trail- A woman lost a gold ring the week before, but she told deputies she’d look for another week before they jumped on the investigation.
2:26 p.m., 113 Ernst- A guy at Cow Creek Taxidermy noticed an antelope shoulder mount was stolen from the showroom sometime at the end of January.
8:41 p.m., 100 block S. Wagon Wheel Dr.- A man’s last check was deposited into his ex-partner’s account, and she refused to give him his money. After a little negotiating, she considered meeting him the next Sunday or Monday when she got off work.
April 22
7:41 a.m., 100 block Simpatico- A man was less than pleased with construction workers urinating at the construction site.
10:48 a.m., 100 block Flat Rock Creek Rd.- A man reported another man broke into a home and tried to rape a woman, which he said has happened before. The man suspected the two were on meth, but he left because the other guy threatened the two with a rifle.
10:53 a.m., 600 block FM 474- A woman lost count of sheep in the road somewhere between 10 and 20.
6:18 pm., 100 block April Lane- A man called 911 when his sister began kicking him out of the house he’d been living in for over a year. He felt he should get 30 days’ notice. Deputies spoke to the sister, telling her she needed to go through the legal eviction process, and she said she would. However, she said if he came back to the residence that night, she would “beat his ass.”
April 23
10:09 a.m., 100 block S. Stonegate- A man called deputies when he couldn’t get ahold of his 11-year-old daughter who was with his ex-wife. That’s because his daughter didn’t want to talk to him.
3:14 p.m., 100 block April Lane- A man was on drugs and threatening to burn the house down, so his sister called 911. He left when he figured out what she was doing, but deputies picked him up walking on the access road.
3:38 p.m., Stahl Street and Blanco Road- A driver was Mirandized during a traffic stop.
4:17 p.m., 100 block Mill Dam Rd.- A property owner was perturbed by a couple guys parked near a river bridge on his property while fishing.
6:46 p.m., 50 block Ranger Creek Rd.- A fence got someone’s goat that couldn’t quite make the leap. The goats head got stuck, and a woman identified the kid as belonging to someone on Doeskin Drive.
7:13 p.m., 43 Hwy 87 N.- A woman was the lone worker at the drive through at the Love’s Travel Stop. When she told a man he would need to wait, he went inside and yelled at her. He then took photos of her car and said he’d call the police on her.
