Boerne High
Boerne High was home Friday and defeated Veterans Memorial, 49-17.
The Greyhound defense came up with 5 turnovers and the offense scored touchdowns on all five takeaways to improve the Greyhounds to 3-1 in district and 5-3 overall. Boerne has now won three in a row.
BHS is at McCollum Friday.
Boerne Champion
The Chargers were on the road Friday and fell to Victoria East, 28-10.
Champion only had 3 points at halftime on a Nathan Bell FG but closed the gap to 11 points in the third quarter before the Titans put it away.
The Chargers are 4-4 overall and 1-4 in district. They play Wagner this week.
Comfort High
The Bobcats were at Thrall and lost a shootout 61-47.
Topper Sterling took the opening kickoff 94 yards but the Tigers just had too much firepower on their way to 61 points.
CHS is 2-5 overall and 0-2 in district. They host Lexington Friday.
Geneva School of Boerne
Geneva defeated Compass Rose 54-0 in a non-district game.
The Eagles are off this Friday and close out the regular season on Nov. 8 with a road trip to Corpus Christi to take on John Paul II.
