Is that all there is?

We’ve lived in Boerne since 1979, raised our family in the same home. We drive the same road in Pleasant Valley with the same dangerous S-curve.

Homeowners recently met with our Kendall County Commissioner, Andra Wisian, to see what can be done to improve this curve, as the school buses run and teenagers drive it daily.

This was their solution: Paint a double yellow line for 400 feet in the curve only, and post new speed signs.

OMG. That’s it? Not widen the road; not cut back the hill and underbrush for visibility?

Over 40 years with no improvements and a yellow center line is what we get.

Is that all there is for this established neighborhood?
