Comfort Chamber Chat: September highlights, upcoming events

As the cooler fall season approaches, Comfort, Texas, is buzzing with activity, and the Comfort Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to share several upcoming events that will engage both residents and visitors alike.

Here’s a look at what’s happening in September and early October.

A Taste of Comfort

The Comfort Library will once again host the Taste of Comfort on Sept. 28 from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Ironwood Barn at the Von Eric Ranch, 1637 Ranch Road 473, Boerne.

This event is one of Comfort’s most anticipated annual gatherings featuring an array of culinary delights from local chefs, restaurants and vendors. There’s something for every palate, from savory bites to sweet treats.

Alongside the delicious food, attendees can enjoy live music, a silent auction and plenty of chances to catch up with friends and meet new people. I’ll be spinning tunes as the DJ for the evening, keeping the energy alive.

Tickets are available through the Comfort chamber website. Be sure to secure yours soon for an evening of fun and flavor.

Monthly Chamber Workshop

For local business owners both small and large, the Comfort chamber offers a valuable resource with its monthly Chamber Workshop series.

This month’s workshop, “Owning Your Own Backyard,” was presented by marketing expert Toby Appleton. Toby’s expertise provides practical strategies on how to make the most of local marketing opportunities and grow business presence right here in Comfort. It was informative and helpful for first-time business entrepreneurs and well-seasoned, longtime Comfort businessmen and women.

First Thursday Mixer To kick off October, we’re inviting everyone to the Comfort chamber’s First Thursday Mixer on Oct. 3 at the charming Garden Haus.

This is a fantastic opportunity to network, socialize and explore the beautiful space that the Garden Haus has to offer. Whether you’re a longtime local or new to the area, the First Thursday Mixer is a great way to connect with fellow community members and businesses in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The event is open to all, and we encourage everyone to stop by and see what makes the Garden Haus such a special part of Comfort’s local scene.

Get involved with YOUR Comfort Chamber.
