All four Kendall County 11-man teams were in action Friday and it was a rough night as only one of the four picked up a win.
Boerne High
The Hounds hosted East Central and it turned into a shootout as the Hornets prevailed 52-49.
The teams combined for 101 points and combined to score 5 TDs in the fourth quarter alone, with Boerne scoring three of them.
BHS is 2-2 and opens district at Alamo Heights.
Boerne Champion
The Chargers were on the road Friday at Spring Branch to open district play and were defeated by Smithson Valley, 42-10.
It's Champion's first loss and makes them 3-1. They are 0-1 in district and host Seguin Friday for homecoming.
Comfort High
Comfort High picked up the only win of the four teams Friday night.
The Bobcats were on the road at Johnson City and won, 21-14.
Comfort has won two in a row and is 2-1. They are home Friday to host Bandera for homecoming.
Geneva School of Boerne
The Eagles made the drive to Houston to take on KIPPS Sunshine Academy and came up short on the road, 28-17.
Geneva is 2-2 and opens up district play Friday at home against Schertz John Paul II.
