Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort elite golfer Frank Cohen played his way to the Club Championship at Tapatio Springs in a twoday, 36-hole stroke play tournament held in the summer.
In the championship flight, the competition was scratch play ( no handicap) and play was from the black tees.
Cohen is well known in Hill Country and South Texas golf circles and anchored the Tapatio team championship year in the Hill Country Senior Inter Club competition in 2023.
Cohen also won the club championship in Harlingen when he lived there several years ago. Cohen is also known for his generous spirit in helping other golfers with their swings, ball striking and general golf advice.
