All four Kendall County football teams picked up wins Friday.
Boerne Champion
The Chargers were in Laredo to take on Alexander and won 25-10. Champion closes out its non-district schedule with a record of 3-0 and opens district play Friday against Smithson Valley.
Boerne High
Boerne High picked up its first road win of the year after they defeated Medina Valley in Castroville, 31-7.
The Greyhounds are 2-1 and host East Central for homecoming on Friday. It's Boerne's final non-district game before opening league play next week at Alamo Heights.
Comfort High
Comfort's Topper Sterling rushed for 317 yards and four touchdowns - all in the first half - to help the Bobcats defeat Ingram, 34-29.
The Bobcats picked up their first win of the year and stand at 1-1.
Comfort is at Johnson City Friday.
Geneva School of Boerne
The Eagles battled through 11 ties or lead changes before defeating Sabinal, 42-37.
Brady Chandler caught 12 passes for 203 yards and 3 TDs to help Geneva improve to 2-1.
The Eagles visit Kipp Sunshine Friday.
