The Boerne Champion volleyball team made a statement Tuesday when they visited Smithson Valley.
Not only did the Chargers defeat the Lady Rangers for the first time since 2022, but Champion swept them in Tuesday’s district meeting.
The Lady Chargers claimed the 26-24, 26-24, 25-16 win over the Rangers. Champion defeated Smithson Valley in 2022 at the Rangers tournament but then dropped their two district matches to them that year and also lost both district meetings in 2023.
