LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

AUGUST 21

7:56 a.m., 600 block of Johns Road — A vehicle crashed through a fence and hit a tree.

2:07 p.m., 100 block of Balmoral Place — A caller reported a vehicle was parked by the mailboxes for over a day and a half.

2:22 p.m., mile marker 537, W. Interstate 10 — A fatal accident occurred when a motorcyclist was hit by a truck. The motorcyclist was not responsive when emergency services responded to the scene. A lane of traffic was closed as the scene was handled.

3:36 p.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported the surveillance footage of damage to his property had been erased. Law enforcement came to the location and an individual was subsequently detained.

AUGUST 22

6:57 a.m., 100 block of Ranger Creek Road — A horse decided to go for a morning jaunt, which was quickly cut short when he was caught and taken back home.

9:13 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road — An employee reported an ice chest had been stolen out of the vehicle of a male staying at the location.

1:58 p.m., 100 block of Lake View Drive — A caller requested assistance with filing a theft report against a loan organization.

2:31 p.m., at Saunders/San Antonio Road — A caller reported that someone had thrown a drink at her and hit her son in the process.

4:50 p.m., 100 block of Crosspoint — A caller reported her wallet, missing the previous day, had reappeared, but was missing $40.

AUGUST 23

4:53 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road — A vehicle was parked at the back of the hotel. Someone was found sleeping in the vehicle.

10:50 a.m., 1400 block of E. Blanco Road — A local resident wanted to report embezzlement at the location.

12:07 p.m., 200 block of Ryan Street — A caller reported money had been stolen from a resident at the location.

4:24 p.m., 200 block of Wickersham — A male came in to report threats.

7:56 p.m., 100 block of Water Street — A caller reported her neighbor’s dog was unleashed and had attacked the caller’s dog, leaving lacerations on its face.

August 24 

8:28 a.m., 100 block of Prairie Falcon — A caller requested assistance with an identity theft case.  

9:06 a.m., on Greyhound Lane — A caller reported an alarm had been going off for almost four hours. The noise was found to be coming from a utility box and the correct person was contacted.  

3:01 p.m., 100 block of Wickersham — A caller reported he could smell gas in the kitchen of his home. Boerne FD came to the location and the gas department investigated the matter.  

3:32 p.m., 100 block of Medical Drive — A caller reported someone had made charges on her card without her approval.  

9:03 p.m., 100 block of Tilbury Boulevard — A caller reported a group of underage people who were drinking by the pool.  

August 25 

12:05 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported hearing a lot of loud bangs in the area. The caller was unsure what was causing the bangs but was concerned. 

3:11 a.m., 300 block of Derby Drive — A caller was worried after hearing three car alarms go off in the past hour. 

7:07 a.m., 500 block of Huntwick Drive – A caller was alarmed after her garage door mysteriously opened by itself. 

5:59 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A female was taken into custody and detained after she attempted to shoplift. 

August 26 

12:26 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox — An intoxicated driver was taken into custody and a wrecker was called for the vehicle. 

10:29 a.m., 100 block of Mesquite Street — A resident came in to report three firearms were stolen.  

10:41 a.m., 100 block of Inverness Pass — A caller was worried about a vehicle that had driven around the block multiple times. The caller said there had been break-ins recently and was wondering if officers could go by to ensure everything was OK. 

1:53 p.m., at Main Street/Bandera Road — A woman walking on the side of the road was reported to be exposed and have her shirt lifted. 

6:02 p.m., on Scenic Loop — A customer threatened to physically assault an employee at the location. 

August 27 

9:58 a.m., 31000 block of E. I-10 — A caller reported a truck hit a light post and another vehicle was involved in the accident. The access road was temporarily closed as the accident was handled. 

10:40 a.m., 100 block of Industrial Drive — A woman was concerned after her former significant other left their residence that morning with firearms and did not say anything to the caller. The caller said the other party had become significantly violent toward the caller. 

12:06 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported their manager had sexually assaulted her. 

3:40 p.m., on Esser Road/Greyhound Lane – A two-vehicle accident occurred. A wrecker was required for each vehicle and the occupants had scrapes and bruising. 

 

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

AUGUST 21

1:33 a.m., on N. Highway 87 — A suspicious vehicle was reported to be in the area. Law enforcement contacted the driver and found she was just taking a nap break during her long drive.

1:53 a.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A suspicious vehicle was parked in the area, near a business that was closed. No occupants were found to be in the vehicle and the building was secure.

2:05 a.m., on River Road/Main Street — A driver was pulled over for a traffic stop and was detained and taken to jail.

9:15 a.m., 200 block of Highway 87 — A caller reported her motorcycle was stolen. The caller said her former significant other had originally been making payments on the vehicle and then abruptly stopped.

2:04 p.m., on Rolling Acres Road – A caller reported someone tried to cash a fraudulent check in the caller’s name in the amount of $2,600.

AUGUST 22

1:13 a.m., at Faltin Street/Independence Parkway — A caller reported two juveniles who were looking in windows. The caller provided additional information about the incident to dispatch.

7:31 a.m., 200 block of Old #9 — A friendly dog was reported to be roaming around the area.

3:00 p.m., 600 block of North Creek Road — A woman reported she had been scammed out of $10,000 and were concerned the scammers were on the way to her house.

5:33 p.m., 7000 block of Seventh Street — A caller reported a male had been harassing and stalking her for over a week.

AUGUST 23

12:31 p.m., 500 block of W. Highway 46 — A vehicle was reportedly driving erratically on the road. The caller was concerned a driver was assaulting a passenger.

2:50 p.m., mile marker 545 E. I-10 — A caller reported a lounge chair in the road. Unable to believe someone thought it was a relaxing place, they requested it be moved.

7:49 p.m., 300 block of Hoskins Trail — A caller reported her house had been struck by lightning and had caused an electrical fire. Bergheim Boerne and Sisterdale fire departments responded to the scene.

10:38 p.m., 200 block of N. Highway 87 — A caller reported he had crashed his motorcycle after hitting a wooden pallet.

August 24 

12:01 a.m., on Eighth Street/Main Street — A caller reported a male had parked in front of his house. The male told the caller he was lost and was trying to find the QT. Law enforcement learned the male had lost his phone and subsequently gotten lost. 

12:07 a.m., 100 block of Jennifer Drive — A caller reported a vehicle sitting in a cul de sac for almost an hour. The vehicle was associated with another vehicle that the caller had a prior road rage incident with. 

1:19 p.m., 800 block of Grape Creek — A caller reported a social media account had been hacked and the hacker was attempting to sell things, impersonating the caller. 

10:38 p.m., 500 block of Sixth Street — A caller reported someone shining a flashlight in her window. The caller said there was a vehicle sitting outside her window. 

August 25 

1:24 a.m., mile marker 543 E. I-10 – Four callers reported a washing machine or dryer had fallen into a lane of traffic. 

8:03 a.m., mile marker 524 W. I-10 – A vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop and the driver was detained. 

3:05 p.m., 52000 block of W. I-10 – A mother reported an individual was harassing her children who were fishing. The caller said the individual had a dog that appeared to be aggressive. 

3:50 p.m., 100 block of Cave Circle — A caller reported his trailer was stolen from his property. 

3:56 p.m. 300 block of Park Ridge — A caller was concerned someone was in her attic when she saw items had been thrown around. It was later discovered that her luggage had fallen over in the closet.  

August 26 

12:52 a.m., 100 block of Deep Hollow Drive — A caller reported he had lost his wallet and his card was being used fraudulently. 

2:43 a.m., 30000 block of Cibolo Run — SiriusXM informed law enforcement of the potential location of a vehicle reported stolen. 

10:50 a.m., 600 block of Esperanza Boulevard — A caller reported teenagers broke into the location over the weekend and stole food from the location. 

12:51 p.m., 200 block of N. Highway 87 — A caller reported a family member had assaulted her the previous day. 

August 27 

8:13 a.m., 200 block of W. Highway 46 — A caller reported a vehicle was flipped over on the side of the road. EMS was called to the scene to provide medical assistance. 

9:03 a.m., 100 block of Sonrisa — A caller reported a stove top was stolen from a construction site. The caller said damage had been done to the back door in the process. 

2:41 p.m., 200 block of Sentido — A caller reported material had been stolen from the job site the previous evening. 

10:29 p.m., 100 block of Poehnert Road — A caller reported a vehicle that had pulled up to their front gate and had been idling for a while. The caller did not recognize the vehicle and was concerned.
